Level 2 All-Star Cheer Team

Teams build on Level 1 skills, increasing the difficulty and introducing more advanced techniques. Athletes execute back and front handsprings, and can connect Level 1 tumbling into a handspring. Includes two-legged stunts at an extended level, and single-legged stunts at prep level without a brace. Flyers are permitted to do half-twisting movements to extended two-legged stunts and prep-level one-legged stunts. Straight-ride basket tosses are allowed, where the flyer doesn't perform any skill in the air.

Level 1 All-Star Cheer Team

This is the beginner level, emphasizing the mastering of fundamental techniques. Athletes perform basic skills such as cartwheels, round-offs, forward and backward rolls, and walkovers. Stunts involve flyers lifted to a knee or waist-level on one leg or a two-footed prep. Flyers are allowed to be lifted on two legs at an extended level, with bracing from other flyers on prep level or below. Basket Tosses: Not yet included at this level.

The program aims to develop air awareness and supreme basics, leading to more advanced skills.

GymStars School-Age Gymnastics

Our goal in the GymStars program is to instill a life-long love of fitness in young athletes. Since gymnastics is the basis of all sports activities, we at Jump’In Gym aim to help every child attain strength, balance, power, flexibility and kinesthetic awareness that will help them excel in whatever activity or sport they choose. All NEW school-age students should start in an Intro Level class unless they have some experience or have been evaluated by a Jump’In Gym coach. Your child may sign-up for a Trial in an Intro or Bronze GymStars class to be evaluated or schedule a private evaluation by one of our coaches through the front desk. At the end of the evaluation the coach will let you and the office know which class is appropriate for your child. Returning students should register for the class in which they last finished or a Beginner GymStars Class is they haven't received a Move-Up Slip. They may also schedule a private evaluation through the front desk to see where your child’s skill level is and what which skills are needed to move-up.
