Our Foundational Class consists of Strength and Technique Training for Pre-Pointe Ballet.

If your dancer loves to perform then this is the class for them. Our Company Class teaches stretching, center technique and across the floor along with Competition Routines. This class is for Company Members only that will make them performance ready and uses the proper discipline to ready these dancers to take the stage.

Musical theatre dancing is less of a particular style, and more of a description of dancing that is rooted in the diverse history of Broadway musicals. Relying heavily on a knowledge of ballet, tap, and jazz, musical theater dancers are, first and foremost, actors and place a high focus on musical interpretation. Storytelling through dance as you learn combinations set to classic musical theatre pieces like Anne, Hairspray , Wicked, The Newsies and More!

Interpretive movements using modern technique such as natural movements focused on the “core” of the body with coordination between breathing and movement as well as a dancer’s relationship with the floor. At Industry Dance, we focus on Horton Technique. The technique emphasizes a whole body, anatomical approach to dance that includes flexibility, strength, coordination and body and spatial awareness to enable unrestricted, dramatic freedom of expression .

Lyrical Style is a performance that must have dynamic emotion and expressive movements demonstrated with fluidity, balance, extension and control. Contemporary is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.

Tap dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. Tap is known for its syncopated, catchy beats and improvisational choreography, which links it to jazz music. Beginner to Advanced Classes are available.

With a combination of dance technique and acro/gymnastic movements, such as cartwheels, handstands, walkovers, aerials, handsprings, etc will be taught from Level 1-6. Highly encouraged for dancers gain and maintain strength and flexiblity that will be shown in other styles of dance.

This energetic class combines stretching and basic Jazz technique. Dancers will have fun mastering specific Jazz elements and then working on them throughout the season. These fundamentals will include Jazz progressions, turns, leaps and center work. The students will also enjoy seasonal combinations taught in the center of the floor to seasonal music, as well as an end of the year Recital routine.

Let your little star shine in this SUPER FUN combo class perfect for students that are new to dance. This class combines 20 minutes each of Ballet and Tap along with Tumble Time. This introduction to dance class will be sure to entertain and captivate your preschooler’s attention while learning basic dance steps to seasonally themed music and activities .

Calling all Ballerinas! This class is perfect for all of our little dancers who dream to be a Ballerina. Join us for a class that allows young dancers to begin and foster their love for dance in Three Class Options: Baby Ballerinas Storybook Ballet Mommy & Me Class Morning and Evening Classes Available

Hip Hop, originally a form of street dance, has now made its way into the hearts of many of our students. Our Hip Hop classes combine a warm up, grooves, across the floor combinations and a center combination. This hard hitting and powerful form of dance allows students of all ages to enjoy letting loose while learning body isolation and coordination skills while listening to fast paced music they love!

Ballet is one of the oldest styles of dance and is taught throughout the world. Based on vocabulary and technique; this class combines stretching, barre exercises, and center technique work. Ballet provides the perfect foundation of any dancer.

Audition Prep classes are available for dancers eager to refine their skills and elevate their technique and artistry to new heights.

Stretch & Strengthening and Technique classes are available for dancers eager to refine their skills and elevate their technique and artistry to new heights. Set the Correct Building Blocks into their Stretch & Strength Training, and to follow the Faculty Tips & Tricks to enhance their Technique Training.

Modern classes for Junior & Teen age groups are available for dancers eager to refine their skills and elevate their technique and artistry to new heights.

Hip Hop classes are available for dancers eager to refine their skills and elevate their technique and artistry to new heights.

Contemporary dance performance category judged on originality and execution. This is part of the Universal Ballet Competition.

Classical ballet variation requiring specific technique and performance. This is part of the Universal Ballet Competition.

Industry Dance Company dancers ages 7-20 years old who are enrolled in our Company or Ballet Foundations Program (Levels 3 & Up) for the 2025-2026 season are eligible to compete for scholarships at YAGP and UBC.

Senior Division dancers are for ages 15-21 years old. Dancers in this division are required to perform en pointe. This is part of the Youth America Grand Prix competition.

Junior Division dancers are for ages 12-14 years old. Dancers in this division will be on demi-pointe in flat canvas shoes. This is part of the Youth America Grand Prix competition.

Primary Division dancers are for ages 9-11 years old. This category is part of the Youth America Grand Prix competition.

Pre-Competitive dancers are eligible to receive overall awards and scholarships to UBC competitions and UBC Workshops. This division is for dancers 7-8 years old.

This is an opportunity for Cultivate ballet students at Industry Dance Company this year to participate in YAGP competitions. Ages are determined as of January 1 of 2026. Pre-competitive dancers are eligible to receive overall awards and scholarships to UBC competitions and UBC Workshops.
