About Mid-County Dance
Mid-County Dance, located in Overland, Missouri, is a vibrant studio dedicated to fostering a love for dance in students of all ages, starting from just two years old. Welcoming new families for Fall 2025, the studio offers a comprehensive range of disciplines, including foundational Ballet, energetic Hip Hop, expressive Lyrical, dynamic Acro, the rhythmic footwork of Tap, and the storytelling of Musical Theater. Artistic Director L.A. Gold and Assistant Artistic Director Stacey Berkowitz lead a diverse curriculum designed to nurture talent and encourage creativity across various age groups and skill levels. Mid-County Dance caters to both competitive aspirations with its invitation-only Team MCD, requiring commitment to technical classes and company participation, and recreational enjoyment. Students in Lyrical are encouraged to strengthen their technique by simultaneously enrolling in Ballet for a well-rounded education. Beyond regular programming, the studio offers exciting Summer Dance programs from June 17 to August 2, providing opportunities for continued artistic development. Mid-County Dance culminates the year with exciting performance opportunities, including its annual RECITAL 2026, with preparations like Dress Rehearsal and Tech Rehearsal highlighted on their academic calendar. The studio provides a supportive and engaging environment, ensuring a balanced schedule with breaks for Spring Break and holidays.
