Pointe class is the most advanced style of classical ballet, as dancers perform in traditional pointe shoes which allow them to dance on the tips of their feet supporting the full weight of their body. Dancers must have achieved the proper strength, control, and alignment of their lower body before they can successfully and safely participate in a pointe class.

Modern classes explore new dance expressions of contemporary, African jazz, and lyrical street dance. Modern emerged at the end of the 19th Century as a rebellion against ballet, although all of its' movement is deeply rooted in ballet technique. Modern dancers explore movement as it relates to space, time, and energy and translates that into performance storytelling.

Music & Movement is a perfect introductory class designed especially for 2 and 3 year olds! Dancers are introduced to music, creative movement and imaginative play through stories, songs, dance activites, and games. Music and Movement dancers learn an early appreciation for music and dance.

Jazz Pom combines pom, cheer, jazz, and tumble elements- perfect for the future cheerleader or dance team performer. Students learn solid pom technique in arm work, leaps, turns, and jumps. Jazz Pom dancers learn to work as a team to create precision and fluidity through their choreography, chants, and cheers.

Hip Hop classes are the newest wave of popular dance styles all over the world. Hip Hop dance was grown from a new culture that mixes street moves with freestyle movement. Hip Hop classes explore a variety of historical and new age styles set to age appropriate music and movement.

Tumble classes are based in floor level gymnastic skills. Students learn to flip, twist, jump and stunt through conditioning and technique drills. Tumble students develop extreme flexibility, strength, and muscle control that carry into many styles of dance, cheer, and pom work.

Jazz classes are high energy classes to develop flexibility, isolation, and muscle conditioning. Our jazz classes cover a variety of styles, including Lyrical and Fusion Jazz. Jazz dancers learn and practice drills to improve their leaps, turns, kicks, and jumps.

Tap classes use rhythm and fine muscle control to creative percussive sounds with your feet. A true American art form, tap dance grew from African style dance in the early 19th Century. Tap students study various styles of tap, such as Rhythm, Classic, Broadway, and Post Modern.

Ballet classes are rooted in traditional dance technique where students learn French vocabulary and history. Ballet students develop poise, concentration, and strength through classwork that includes barre, center, allegro, adagio, and reverence.
