The Dance Studio

The Dance Studio offers a birthday party package suited to any little princess in your life. To begin, we will give you specially printed invitations from the King and Queen (mom and dad) for all the guests (up to 9 other princesses). On the day of this magical event, we will transform our studio and party room into an enchanted castle, complete with a very large purple sparkly throne and a tent canopy replete with flowers, ribbons, and other princessly decorations. We have a variety of entertaining activities for the party that parents can choose from depending on the age of the princess and her guests. There will, of course, also be plenty of time for dancing and opening presents.

The Wild-Game Hunter Birthday Party includes The Dance Studio rental for 2 hours, a hunter host to help facilitate the party, invitations for 9 guests, 10 orange hunting vest costumes and face painting, personalized happy birthday door banner for the birthday child, camouflage-hunting themed decorated studio, complete with balloons, streamers, targets, and a duck-blind, wild-game hunting themed games including Ring-Toss on the Antlers, Pin the Tail on the Deer, and Shoot the Target, dancing games, including Fishing-Rod Limbo, and free-dance time, Target Pinata with candy or 10 Wild-game themed Party Favor Bags, wild-game craft, Camouflage-Hunting decorated party room with table-wear for 12, Camouflage-Hunting themed cupcakes/birthday cake, ice cream, and treats for 12.

Priority enrollment for Spring 2017 (January-May) is now open to currently enrolled students. New students may begin to enroll on January 2nd. All Acting Classes require hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun, no watches or jewelry, casual clothes that allow movement (no jeans), jazz shoes, pencils/pens & highlighters, and an Acting Notebook/Script provided by The Dance Studio. Hair must be pulled back off the face and tightly secured.

All Levels of Tap require hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun, no watches or jewelry, dance tights with feet or socks, capri-length dance/athletic type bottoms and a form fitting top OR leo and dance shorts. An optional tap board to practice on at home is recommended. Levels 1 and 2 require any brand black tap shoes. Levels 3 and Up require specific models of black tap shoes with a black matt finish and higher quality taps, and a solid sole.

All Levels of Acro require hair pulled back in a low ponytail or bun, no watches or jewelry, convertible or ankle-length dance tights, thong footies, a leotard or dance crop top & shorts, and optional dance shorts over the leo. Hair must be pulled back off the face and tightly secured.

All Levels of Hip-hop require hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun, no watches or jewelry, tights (preferably with feet), jazz shoes (any color to start, hip-hop shoes later), a leotard or dance crop top, and optional dance shorts over the leo. Hair must be pulled back off the face and tightly secured.

All Levels of Jazz require hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun, no watches or jewelry, tights (preferably with feet), tan jazz shoes, a leotard or dance crop top, and optional dance shorts over the leo. Hair must be pulled back off the face and tightly secured.

Lyrical/Modern/Contemporary classes have the same dress code as Ballet 2, 3, or 4. Convertible tights, optional dance shorts, and half-shoes are required. Hair must be pulled back off the face and tightly secured in a bun, with no watches or jewelry allowed. Earring studs are okay.

Pointe/Pre-Pointe classes follow the same dress code as Ballet 3-4 Class. Pointe shoes require teacher approval. Therabands are also needed. Hair must be pulled back off the face and tightly secured in a bun, with no watches or jewelry allowed. Earring studs are okay.

Ballet 4 requires a black leotard, pink dance tights with feet, and pink ballet shoes. Hair must be pulled back off the face and tightly secured in a bun, with no watches or jewelry allowed. Earring studs are okay.

Ballet 3 requires a black leotard, pink dance tights with feet, and pink ballet shoes. Hair must be pulled back off the face and tightly secured in a bun, with no watches or jewelry allowed. Earring studs are okay.

Ballet 2 requires a black leotard, white dance tights with feet, and pink ballet shoes. Hair must be pulled back off the face and tightly secured in a bun, with no watches or jewelry allowed. Earring studs are okay.

Pre-Ballet, Ballet for dancers under 8 years-old, and All Combo Classes require dance tights with feet, ballet shoes, and a leotard. A skirt or dance shorts are optional. Hair must be pulled back off the face and tightly secured in a bun, with no watches or jewelry allowed. Earring studs are okay. Tap Shoes or Jazz Shoes are for Combo students.

A weekly class for cast members to participate in rehearsals and production activities. Enrollment is required for cast members ages 5-18 after accepting a role in the show.
