Classes

TUMBLING / ACRO

Recommended for dancers ages 5 and up, Tumbling/Acro classes (45–60 minutes) build balance, coordination, and strength while introducing foundational acrobatic skills. Students begin with basic movements such as bridges, somersaults, and cartwheels, progressing to more advanced skills as their ability grows. This class is a great way to improve body awareness and confidence both on and off the dance floor!

JAZZ POM

Jazz Pom combines strong jazz dance technique with the sharp, powerful motions of traditional pom style. Dancers develop precision, strength, and performance skills in this high-energy class perfect for those interested in dance team or cheer style choreography. Jazz Pom is available for dancers ages 10 and up.

HIP HOP

Hip Hop is a high-energy style of dance that focuses on musicality, rhythm, and performance. Dancers learn popular street and commercial styles while developing coordination, confidence, and stage presence. We offer four leveled Hip Hop classes to ensure every dancer is placed in the program that best matches their age, ability, and experience.

TAP

Tap is an energetic style of dance that develops timing, rhythm, balance, and coordination through sound and movement. Dancers create music with their feet while building precision and musicality. We offer four leveled Tap classes to ensure every dancer is placed in the program that best matches their ability and experience.

MUSICAL THEATER

Musical Theater is an exciting class that combines dance with performance skills, introducing dancers to movements inspired by a variety of Broadway musicals. Students are encouraged to explore their “inner performer” while learning to tell a story through dance, expression, and stage presence. This class is an excellent choice for dancers who participate in local theater programs or those who simply love to perform!

CONTEMPORARY

Contemporary blends elements of jazz, lyrical, and modern dance into an expressive and versatile style. This class gives dancers a creative outlet while challenging them with dynamic movement, fluid transitions, and innovative choreography. Contemporary is available for dancers ages 10 and up or by instructor invitation. Ballet 1 is a prerequisite, and dancers must be enrolled in a ballet class while taking Contemporary.

LYRICAL

Lyrical combines strong ballet technique with expressive performance, using music with lyrics to tell a story or convey emotion. This style draws on elements of ballet, jazz, and modern dance, offering dancers a powerful way to deepen their artistry. Lyrical is best suited for experienced dancers looking to expand their range. Ballet 1 is a prerequisite, and dancers must be enrolled in a ballet class while taking Lyrical.

JAZZ

Jazz is one of our most popular styles and offers dancers a chance to explore high-energy movement, dynamic musicality, and a variety of techniques. Students are introduced to multiple styles, including Musical Theater, Open, and Fosse inspired jazz. We currently offer four leveled Jazz classes, ensuring every dancer is placed in the class that best matches their ability and experience.

POINTE’

Pointe is an advanced level of ballet designed to develop strength, control, and artistry as dancers train in pointe shoes. This class emphasizes proper technique, alignment, and safe progressions to support long-term success. Pointe is offered by instructor invitation only. Students must also be enrolled in advanced ballet classes at least twice per week to participate in Pointe’. Pre-Pointe is recommended for all dancers enrolled in Pointe’ for additional strengthening of the feet and ankles.

BALLET

Ballet is the foundation of all forms of dance and is recommended for every student. Training in ballet builds strong body placement and posture, develops control and grace in movement, and nurtures self-discipline that benefits dancers in every style. We offer Ballet classes from beginner through advanced levels to meet each dancer’s needs. Families may choose between technique-only classes (no performance) or performance classes that participate in our Recital. Students in Levels 3 and 4 are required to attend advanced ballet classes at least twice per week.

KINDERCOMBO

KinderCombo is the perfect next step for dancers ready to take their training further! This class builds on Ballet and Tap technique while introducing foundational Jazz skills in a fun and encouraging environment. KinderCombo dancers perform one routine in our Winter Showcase and two routines in the June Recital, showcasing their growing talent and love of dance!

PREDANCE

Pre-Dance is the perfect next step for young movers ready for a little more structure! This 60-minute class introduces Ballet and Tap basics while keeping things upbeat and fun. Dancers also enjoy beginner tumbling skills, plus the last few minutes are all about playful activities like Freeze Dance and parachute time. Pre-Dance performers take the stage twice a year with one routine in our Winter Showcase and two routines in the June Recital, giving parents even more heartwarming moments to treasure!

TINY TOTS

Tiny Tots is the perfect first step into the world of dance! This fun-filled 45-minute class introduces basic dance movements, simple positions, and beginner tumbling skills all while building coordination, confidence, and creativity. Tiny Tots dancers shine on stage in our June Recital. an unforgettable experience for both dancers and parents!
