Apply the fundamental techniques of Jazz in increasingly more advanced combination. For students with a solid understanding and ability to perform fundamental Jazz technique.

Class begins with breathing exercises and vocalizing. We play games which help to relieve the actors of inhibitions, learn trust and build skills to work together to communicate as a team.

Acro is a combination of tumbling and dance. A high energy class with an emphasis on conditioning that’s perfect for students who want to incorporate tumbling into their dance or cheerleading. Acro students are highly encouraged to take ballet.

This class is open to all ages and experience. This is a recreational class intended for fun and fitness.

Featuring Disney Favorites, a new theme each day! We will have a great time exploring all the classes KCPA Studio has to offer: dance, theatre arts, music, and acro.

Excellent Training in Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Hip Hop & Pilates. You will also learn Dance Improvisation & Improvisation as a basis for Choreography and Physical Theatre.

Advanced ballet technique for students interested in pursuing a career in the performing arts. For serious students who have progressed to this level or with permission from the instructor.

For serious Drama students 7th grade and older. Students study aspects of Theatre Arts such as: Acting, Improvisation, Dialects, Period Style Movement, Gestures, Elocution Character Interpretation.

For the serious student planning to study pointe or wish to improve their foot and ankle strength and stability.

For the very serious ballet student, at least age 11, with excellent foot and ankle strength, flexibility, and stability. Students are considered on an individual basis by the instructor.

Discover knowledge and ability to execute the fundamental techniques of Ballet. For the 5th grade and older beginners or younger students who have progressed to this level.

Advanced tap technique for the serious tap student. Emphasis is placed on clarity and speed as well as advanced flat steps and increasingly complex combinations and rhythms.

Learn basic tap technique and discover classic tap combinations every dancer should know. For 3rd grade and up beginners or students who have progressed to this level.

Art in Motion is the performance company of KCPA. Members are dedicated and skilled in the performing arts. Members must maintain the company’s high standards and requirements.

Discovery Dance. An introductory fusion class for kindergarten age beginners: Creative Movement, Music, Ballet, Tap and Tumbling. Vallet and tap shoes required, barefoot for tumbling.

This is a combo Class that includes Jazz and Contemporary Dance. Contemporary dance combines elements from Modern, Jazz and Ballet designed to help connect the mind and body through fluid movements. Enrollment in ballet is highly recommended.

A fun filled fusion class for preschoolers: Dance, Music and Tumbling. Ballet and tap shoes required, barefoot for tumbling.

Continued exploration of basic Ballet and Tap technique and an introduction for 3rd-4th grade beginners. 1 hour of ballet and 30 minutes of tap.

A dance class designed for very young children, focusing on early movement and coordination skills. Suitable for ages 2.5-4.

A class focusing on the application of fundamental modern dance techniques, suitable for students aged 12 and above. Prerequisites may apply.

Ages: 12+.
