About Evolution Dance Arts

Evolution Dance Arts, nestled in Sparta, New Jersey, is a vibrant community studio dedicated to fostering a lifelong love for dance in students of all ages. Founded in 2023 by directors Katy Guth and Michelle Kane, the studio provides high-level dance training in a nurturing environment, shaping confident and well-rounded individuals. Our comprehensive curriculum encompasses a wide array of dance styles, including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Acrobatic Arts, Barre, Ballroom, and Line Dancing. We offer specialized Acro classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, as well as dedicated classes for preschoolers (ages 2-3) and combo classes for younger students blending techniques like Tap and Ballet. For older students, we offer combination classes and advanced instruction in disciplines such as Pointe. Evolution Dance Arts also boasts a competitive Team EVOLUTION program with divisions for Minis, Petites, Juniors, and Teens, providing invaluable performance opportunities and intensive training. Our experienced and passionate faculty, including Katy Guth, Michelle Kane, Tracy Burkholder, Caitlin Diaz, Alex Dutko, Kierstyn Edore, Robyn Gueci, Cassie Hamilton, Nick Lundquist, Amanda Molina, Stephanie Nunziato-Virga, Hannah Ramos, and Sondra Steiner, are committed to creating a welcoming and inspiring space where every dancer can build confidence, strength, and express their artistic potential. Summer programming features diverse camps like K-Pop, Musical Theater, 'Go Bananas,' and 'Camp Evolution' for intensive technique development.

Tumbling (ages 4-7)

Acro and Tumbling classes focus on developing strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, concentration, and muscle control. Dancers will learn acrobatic techniques and how they apply to other forms of dance.

Contemporary dance is a highly expressive style of dance that draws on ballet, jazz, and modern dance techniques.
