About Trinity Studios

Trinity Studios, nestled in Sparta, New Jersey, is a vibrant hub for artistic expression, offering comprehensive performing arts education for ages 3 through adult. Our diverse curriculum encompasses a wide array of dance styles including Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Acro/Tumbling, Ballroom, Salsa, Zumba, Musical Theater, Breakdance, Flamenco, K-Pop, Line Dancing, Belly Dance, Barre, and Bachata. Complementing our dance offerings, the Academy for Theater Arts provides fundamental skills in auditioning, scene study, and monologue work, with a special emphasis on Musical Theater Workshops blending vocal performance, acting, and dance. Our accomplished faculty includes Assistant Director Melissa Stewart (BA in Dance, 20+ years experience), Senior Dance Instructor Kristeen McConnon (Ballet, Lyrical, Creative Movement), Ashley Tirone (Acro, Contemporary, Lyrical), Bria DeGroat (Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop), and instructors Mattison McCurry and Tina Firzlaff (Acro/Tumbling, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre). Trinity Studios actively nurtures young talent through performance opportunities with programs like the TDC Troupe, Minerette Prep Teams, and the Trinity Dance & Pom Team, which also serves as preparation for the Minerette teams. For seasoned performers, the Trinity Dance Company Elite Performance and Competition Troupe (ages 7-18) competes locally and nationally. We also collaborate with the Black Cat Theatre Company of NJ, presenting shows at The Sparta Avenue Stage. Engaging summer programs and camps offer further immersion into various dance and theatre genres.
