We offer a variety of after-school and evening dance classes and workshops for children and teens in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Whether you have been dancing for years, or are just flexing your heels for the first time, you will find a place in our inclusive dance community. All FallDance students are invited to perform in our holiday show, Into the Light.

Listening to folktales from different countries. This component of the workshop enriches the children's understanding of global narratives and traditions.

Learning dances and songs from all around the world. This immersive experience introduces children to diverse global cultures through movement and melody.

Turning into animals, playing dance games, and exploring their full range of movement and boundless creative expression. These classes are designed to foster imagination and physical exploration.

Led by a team of esteemed faculty members, dancers will partake in masterclasses spanning an array of styles including modern dance, ballet, theater, jazz, world and folk dance traditions, swing dance, Afro-Caribbean Soca, Appalachian clogging, songwriting, music for dancers, and percussive dance.

Dancers explore world traditions, contemporary choreography, theatre, jazz, music, percussive forms and more--while building creativity, confidence, and community. This program is a hidden gem and a truly inspiring experience for movers of all levels.

Afternoon electives offer an opportunity for students to engage in in-depth technique work, choreography review, additional performance opportunities, songwriting, aerial flight, and more! Open to all SummerDancers.

Children build and expand upon the creative movement sequence, preparing young dancers in rhythm, percussion, choreography, and technique. Students become an active part of the class structure—always given the opportunity to explore and express their creativity.

Stay connected and keep warm and active this winter with our eight session series for ages 4-18 in New Paltz and Stone Ridge. Classes begin January 5th 2026

Join guest teaching artist Krupa Mehta for an energetic Bollywood dance series! Students will explore the vibrant rhythms and expressive storytelling of Bollywood — a fusion of Indian classical, folk, and contemporary styles set to upbeat music. Over seven weeks, dancers will learn new movement vocabulary and choreography culminating in a joyful new piece for Into the Light 2025.
