Triggle Academy of Irish Dance, with studios in Apex, Cary, and Chapel Hill, North Carolina, invites dancers of all ages to discover the joy and tradition of Irish Step dance. Founded by TCRG-certified World Champion Daniel Triggle, the academy boasts a legacy of excellence rooted in his distinguished competitive and performance career, including a British National Championship title, top placements at The All Irelands and The World Championships, and a world tour with 'Riverdance.' Since 2009, Triggle has dedicated himself to nurturing talent, building successful Ceili and Choreography teams that have earned numerous championship titles at regional, national, and world levels, including a Senior Ladies Choreography win at the World Championships 2022. Triggle Academy offers a comprehensive curriculum for beginners through to advanced and competitive prizewinner levels, with specialized programs for Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Beginner dancers, as well as Ceili and Recital Practice. Adult classes are also available, ensuring accessibility for everyone. Students develop strength, endurance, focus, and invaluable friendships in a fun, healthy, and supportive environment. The academy emphasizes a strong foundation in technique, proper warm-up and cool-down, music counting, and dance etiquette, preparing students for both personal growth and competitive achievement. Performance opportunities, including the Raleigh St. Patrick's Day Parade, are a key part of the student experience.
