Bare feet or jazz shoes, footless tights and any color leotard or bike shorts or jazz pants and a t-shirt, hair in neat ponytail.

Girls: Pink ballet slippers, pink tights, leotard color according to level; Dance Magic: hair in ponytails; all other levels: hair in neat bun, secured away from neck & face. Boys: White or black ballet shoes, white socks, white shirt, black tight, or shorts.

Trainees will be challenged in all dance genres and performing styles and will have performing opportunities with our resident company, the Carolina Youth Ballet.

Dedicated advanced ballet students aged 12-17, who are focused on a professional career. The program combines an early morning ballet program with an evening dance program, allowing dancers to focus on their school studies during the day.

Dancers train and rehearse, in addition to taking evening classes throughout the week in ballet, pointe, variations, jazz, contemporary and a number of master classes through-out the season. The program will allow time for dancers to have a part time job or pursue further academic studies along with their training hours in the studio.

Kinder Ballet classes expand upon the creative movement experience from our Dance Magic program. Students learn beginner ballet steps, plus receive an introduction to tap or jazz to add extra fun to the class, as well as help develop rhythm, coordination and musicality. Classes are creative, fun, energetic and perfect for the developing mind and body of a 4-5 year old.

Our unique Dance Magic classes are designed for 3-4 year old girls and boys and are structured with ballet steps, dance games and ballet stories. Children learn the early basics of ballet, including the positions of the arms and feet, as well as steps to help develop coordination and gross motor skills, such as skipping, hopping, galloping, leaping, etc. Classes are very fun and creative and end with dress-up, a fairy tale and expressive free dance.

TAD Dance Teams are performance groups comprised of talented and well-rounded students who are passionate about dance and want to take their dancing to the next level. Team dancers have the opportunity to attend dance conventions with renowned artists, compete at regional competitions and receive a greater exposer to the dance world.

Our Little Movers Music and Music g roups are the perfect opportunity for you to sing, dance, and explore with your little one! Offered to infants and toddlers, ages 2 months to 3 years and their parent(s)/caregiver(s). Little Movers provides a safe, enriching, and joyful environment for your little one to explore their world. We can’t wait to learn with you!

With age-appropriate activities for newborns, infants and crawlers, this parent-child music and movement class will help with your baby's development, and bonding with you and your baby.
