The Dance Lab Co. (TDLC), located in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering a love for dance and creating an inclusive environment where everyone is able to experience the joy of movement. Founded in November 2020, TDLC offers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to thrive as dancers, alongside community dancers and students of diverse ages and backgrounds. TDLC provides a comprehensive curriculum encompassing choreography, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, ballet, and hip hop. Classes are offered in hour-long weekly sessions across distinct spring, summer, and fall sessions, all within a professional studio setting. A cornerstone of TDLC's philosophy is its integrated format, where select dancers from the local area and individuals with disabilities learn and create together, fostering collaboration and shared artistic experiences. The faculty includes founder and instructor Chloé Neunsinger, who brings extensive ballet training and diverse performance experience with organizations like the Carolina Ballet and Greensboro Opera. As a certified adaptive dance instructor and speech-language pathologist, Neunsinger embodies TDLC's mission: 'Where Everyone Is Able.' The studio also actively seeks enthusiastic volunteers, demonstrating a strong commitment to community involvement.
