The Inis Cairde School of Irish Dance

This class is designed for experienced dancers who are interested in competing in adult championships. Danced as a kid? We now offer adult championships as part of our advanced class!

This program is for returning or experienced dancers who wish to participate in team performances and competitions.

Welcome to our Jig Tots program, where 2's and 3's can get the crazies out Irish-style! Watch your preschooler hop, skip, tiptoe and jump to the lively traditional sounds of Irish fiddle and accordion, all while developing essential gross motor skills and rhythm. With weekly activities, challenges and laughter, it's never been more fun to learn Irish jigs and reels!

Our emphasis on character and teamwork is the key factor that sets Inis Cairde apart from other competitive Irish dance programs. We offer weekly World-level instruction, including quarterly workshops with visiting instructors from Ireland, and have earned many competitive accolades over the years.

At Inis Cairde, dancers can tailor their long-term involvement here to match their individual schedules with affordable, once-weekly classes that progress through the Intermediate and Advanced levels.

Mini Beginners is for new dancers ages 3.5 - 5 years of age. Mini Beginnings+ is for returning Mini dancers and Beginning I is for dancers 6 and up, as of August 31st of the current year.

Most of our adult students begin with no knowledge or experience in Irish dancing. Under the tutelage of our certified teacher, Cara Stackpoole, along with two teacher assistants, many are surprised at just how quickly they progress through their first dances.

Our class structure allows an overlap between the levels to work on material which all levels share and makes for an easier transition as a student advances.
