A 90-minute technique program modeled on our Pre-Professional Program (P3) which features classical ballet and modern technique. Saturday Dance Studies compliments the Apprentice Program by providing exposure to several styles of dance.

Children ages 6 to 9 learn explorative movement in a safe, structured and nurturing environment. Young dancers will learn the art of balance and strength, the mastery of imagination and wonder, while developing their dexterity, coordination, and learning how their musculoskeletal system works in tandem with their mind. They will also learn the importance of musicality, dynamic range, and versatility of dance genres. The classes are progressive in nature, provoking the young dancer to celebrate small wins; hence, encouraging confidence and positive self-affirmation.

We offer classes for the adult who is curious about dance, the adult who desires to pick up where they left off, the professional dancer, as well as that adult who is looking for a safe, fun, and effective way to get into shape.

Modern Technique / Ballet Technique

All pre-professional students study both classical ballet and modern technique, along with body conditioning designed for dancers, in the core Technique Track. Experience has shown that dance artists who have a solid foundation in both modern and classical ballet technique are best equipped to pursue professional and higher educational opportunities.
