Nestled in downtown Logan, Ohio, RL Dance Co. offers a vibrant and inclusive dance education for students of all ages. Located on the second floor of the historic Washboard Company building, this woman-owned business is dedicated to making high-level dance training accessible, fostering confidence, social skills, and physical and mental well-being. RL Dance Co. cultivates a fun, safe, and community-driven environment, connecting mind, body, and spirit. The studio provides a diverse array of group classes and personalized private lessons in fundamental and expressive styles including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Ballroom, and Barre. Instructors like Robyn Lindsey, with extensive global experience and a dance degree, teach ballet, contemporary, and ballroom. Katie Maccabee, a tap specialist, instructs elementary hip hop. Stephanie Runge assists with preschool and ballroom, while Emma Campbell leads ballet for children and adults. Robin Clement teaches ballet and tumbling. RL Dance Company is also committed to increasing diversity and welcomes instructors from underrepresented demographics. Beyond regular classes, RL Dance Co. offers a rich selection of special programs and camps throughout the year. These include the Summer Dance Intensive (ages 6-12) featuring hip hop, musical theatre, acro, ballet, and jazz; the Lion Cub Club (ages 5-11) for musical theatre immersion; "In My Dancer Era" camp (ages 8-12) inspired by Taylor Swift; "Teddy Bear Tea Party" (ages 3-6) for ballet; "Christmas in July"; "Mario World" and "Hey Barbie!" themed camps with hip hop; "Bluey Camp" for creative movement; "Moana Camp"; and Wicked Camp (ages 7-12) for singing, dancing, and theatre. Performance and competition teams are a highlight, with auditions for dancers ages 6-16 possessing at least six months of experience.
