About Count Me In, llc
Count Me In, llc, located in Milan, Ohio, is a vibrant dance and performing arts studio dedicated to nurturing talent and building confidence in students of all ages, from toddlers to adults and individuals with special needs. Offering a comprehensive curriculum, the studio provides instruction in a wide array of dance styles including Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Musical Theater, and Acrobatics. Specialized programs such as Acro Tumbling, Acrobatic Arts, and their Aerial and Back Handspring programs are also available, with instructors certified in these areas. The studio boasts an experienced, all-adult staff committed to enriching lives through movement. Key instructors include Madeline Hoag, certified in Acrobatic Arts; Cassie Shane, with extensive competitive dance background; and Amie Smarr, Ashley Hillman, and Allison Drumm, who contribute diverse expertise. Count Me In, llc emphasizes a supportive and inclusive family atmosphere, fostering artistic expression and helping students achieve personal dance goals. Beyond their regular year-round programs, the studio offers engaging Summer Dancer Tracks with condensed schedules and skill progression, perfect for exploring new classes. These non-performance based sessions provide a great entry point for students of all ages, from 'Mini Movers' (ages 2-3) to teens (12+). Adaptive dance programs, 'Special Stars,' are tailored for individual needs for children as young as two and adults. Registration for the exciting 2026 Spring & Summer Classes & Camps is now open. Classes run weekly from June 8th through July 31st, 2026, with session lengths adjusted for age groups. The CMI Mentor Program: Guiding the Next Generation of Performing Artists. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to helping each student turn their passion for dance and the performing arts into a purposeful and rewarding future. Our Mentor Program is specifically designed to give aspiring performers the tools, training, and real-world insight they need to confidently take their next steps beyond the studio.
Strength - Flex & Dancers Skills
This class will be a technique only class focusing on helping to improve some of the most basic and core techniques for all styles of dance. Strength and flexibility classes for dancers can help improve their mobility, flexibility, stamina and performance. These classes can include a variety of exercises, such as yoga, pilates, and strength training, and may use props like bands, mats, or yoga blocks. Some classes may also teach dancers about the mechanics of their bodies as they relate to dance technique helping to improve core skills such as leaps, jumps and turns. Classes also focus on cross training and injury prevention to ensure dancers understand how to protect their bodies while training and ensure safety and longevity.
Voice Class
Students work on developing their singing skills and their ability to perform as well as the fundamentals of reading music. The instructor focuses on the core skills for singers such as breathing, tone and pitch. Each skill is developed individually and then combined together in a fun, creative, and musical manner.
Musical Theatre
In Musical theater, students work on developing their abilities to perform a musical number that includes acting, singing, and dance. The instructor focuses on each skill individually and then works to put them all together in a fun, creative, and expressive way.
TEEN TAP
this is a beginner/intermediate level class for suggested ages13-18 Tap classes are re designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of styles from Broadway to Rhythm tap. Classes focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and speed of movement. Tap class is great for improving rhythmic ability, coordination, and agility.

Cheer 4 (Advanced)

COMBO class
Suggested for 2-6 year olds just wanting to "tumble". Acro Level 1-4 and Advanced are offered during Fall session, combined leveling during Summer session. Acro is centered on fundamental acrobatic technique to increase flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, timing, body awareness, self-discipline, and confidence.
Acro Tumbling Level 6
Must have continuous back handsprings. Acro is centered on fundamental acrobatic technique to increase flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, timing, body awareness, self-discipline, and confidence. Students in this level SHOULD BE TUMBLING AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE OUTSIDE OF CLASS to maintain what they learn in class for optimum results.
Acro Tumbling Level 5
Working on back handspring - some students progress to level 6 and some remain in level 5 through age 18. Acro is centered on fundamental acrobatic technique to increase flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, timing, body awareness, self-discipline, and confidence.

Must be working on back limber and scales - most students take this level for 3-4 years. Acro is centered on fundamental acrobatic technique to increase flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, timing, body awareness, self-discipline, and confidence.

Must have a backbend rise & back walkover (without falling out) - most students take this level for 2-3 years. Acro is centered on fundamental acrobatic technique to increase flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, timing, body awareness, self-discipline, and confidence.

Kinder Combo 2
Classes are 45 minutes weekly. Must be at least 5 by their first class. This class is for students attending Kindergarten and are ready to dance in class on their own as well as start to explore specific "styles" of dance. Students will have the option to choose between a class that begins to work more on Acro and Jazz skills or a class that works more on Ballet and Tap skills while still ensuring a true COMBO class is provided. This class is designed to help prepare them for moving into a "big kids" class next season.
Kinder Combo 1
Classes are 45 Minute Weekly. Must be potty trained and at least 4 by their first class. This class is for students entering or attending Kindergarten. This class is designed to allow children to start to explore a variety of dance styles while refining their classroom etiquette including acro tumbling, jazz, tap and ballet.
Pre-Combo
Classes are 30 minutes weekly. Must be potty trained and at least 3 by their first class. This class is for students entering or attending Pre-school. These classes perform in the annual Recital PRE-SHOW which lasts less than 30 minutes and takes place before the RECITAL begins, but gives students a small taste of the theater and the families and chance to see them perform in their costume.
Mini Movers
Classes are 30 minutes weekly. Must be potty trained and at least 2 by their first class. This class is for students who may have not yet attend school, but are ready to be "on their own" and in a classroom without mom or dad. This is typically their 1st time in a classroom so we concentrate on classroom skills and then dance skills.
Me & My Grown Up
Classes are 45 minutes weekly followed by a 30 minute Open Playtime in our Toddler Room. Students do NOT need to be potty trained, but MUST be accompanied by an adult to each class. This is the perfect class for students who are not quite ready to be away from their adult and/or have not yet mastered the potty and may still need to be in pull ups.
Me & My Grown Up Class
This is the perfect class for students who are not quite ready to be away from their adult and/or have not yet mastered the potty and may still need to be in pull ups. Join our 45 minute class followed by 30 minutes of Open Playtime in our toddler playroom!
