Danceworks, nestled in Ashland, Oregon, has been a vibrant hub for dance education since its founding in 2001. We offer a diverse range of genuine dance styles for enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels, including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Tap, and Musical Theater. Our dynamic curriculum is designed to foster self-expression, confidence, and a lifelong love for movement. Our experienced instructors provide top-tier training. Creative Director Aisha Wand, with her professional performance background and extensive studies, brings a wealth of knowledge. Bella Lemhouse, a former Danceworks student, shares her passion for hip hop, contemporary, ballet, jazz, and musical theatre. Suzanne Seiber enriches our faculty, teaching Tap, Musical Theatre Dance, and Ballet, and bringing extensive choreography and performance experience. Danceworks emphasizes a nurturing and professional community. Our curriculum includes high-energy Hip Hop classes to enhance musicality and style, and Contemporary classes exploring fundamental ballet techniques and floor work. Jazz technique builds core strength and flexibility, while Ballet training ranges from 'Tiny Tots & Mini Ballet' to general and advanced classes for older students. We are committed to providing enriching dance experiences that foster technique, artistry, and a lifelong love for the performing arts within the Ashland area.
