Classes

Ballet/Tap/Jazz bundle

Conditioning

A dance conditioning class focusing on strength training, balance technique, and flexibility. Foam rollers and yoga mats are used, please supply if you can.

Variation

Students will learn a variation that may be performed during a recital or event. May be taken on or off pointe.

Pointe

A pointe technique class.

Adult Tap

Adult tap is open to anyone from teen to adult that loves to tap. This is an informal class for the tapper looking for just fun or dreams of the stage. If you danced as a child or wanting to fulfill childhood dreams you are welcome.

Adult Ballet

A beginning to intermediate ballet class, designed for adults and teens just learning to dance. Class includes ballet barre, center floor, and performance opportunities.

Lyrical

Lyrical is a combination between jazz and ballet that relies on the lyrics and emotion of the dance to reflect in the movement. Dancers will receive a warm up, center exercises, and choreography during class. This freer movement class is open to all intermediate and advanced level students of all ages.

Ballet V

This advanced level class further develops student’s technique and includes steps that can only be accomplished by an experienced dancer. Increased levels for turns, jumps, and flexibility are trained for during this class. In this class exercises will begin to pick up pace and increase in difficulty, including developpe in center, promenade, pirouettes, and jumps including beats. This class is designed for teens to adults.

Ballet IV

An intermediate pre-pointe class focusing on strengthening balance technique. Barre exercises will increase intensity and usage of releve. Center floor combinations will also grow in complexity while jumping will become less repetitive. Class is designed for 11-13 years of age.

Ballet III

Students will expand their barre routine and start working with fourth and fifth positions and increase center floor patterns. An intermediate level class will focuses on strength, stamina, and flexibility. Proper technique will further be developed while students will increase their ballet repertoire. This class is designed for 9 to 11 year olds.

Tap III

An intermediate jazz class for 9-13 year olds. More complicated steps and combinations will be taught and mastered.

Jazz III

An intermediate jazz class for 9-13 year olds. Students will continue mastering basic steps and include turns, kicks, and large jumps.

Tap II

A beginning/intermediate tap class for 7-8 year olds. Using basic tap steps students will learn how to combine them into more complicated steps.

Tap I

A beginning tap class for 5-6 year olds. Children will learn basic steps and technique. Students will will repeat steps until they are comfortable with the sounds and movement.

Jazz II

A beginning/intermediate dance class for 7-8 year olds. Building on the basic jazz steps more complicated combinations will be taught.

Jazz I

A beginning jazz class for 5-6 year olds, teaching students the fundamentals of dance movement. Class includes warmup, basic jazz steps, and across the floor combinations.

Ballet II

A beginning ballet class teaching basic ballet movements giving students a strong foundation to carry them through their studies. Children will be given simple barre and center floor exercises. These exercises will be based on using first, second, and third foot positions and will focus more on repetition. This class is designed for 7 to 8 year olds.

Ballet I

A beginning ballet class teaching basic ballet movements giving students a strong foundation to carry them through their studies. Children will be given simple barre and center floor exercises. These exercises will be based on using first & second foot positions and will focus more on repetition. This class is designed for 5 to 6 year olds.

Intro to Dance

This class introduces the basic fundamentals of movement, musicality, and dance activities. Class includes barre exercises, stretching, and crossing the floor with skips jumps and leaps. This class is designed for 3-4 year olds.

Mommy and Me

A fun class for children 9months to 3 years and their parent or gardiun. A class using music and movement and interaction with other children.
