Spinning Harts Pole and Dance Studio, conveniently located in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, offers a dynamic and empowering approach to movement and artistry for all ages and skill levels. Founded in March 2015 by sisters Tami and Heather Hartman, the studio embraces the transformative power of dance and fitness. Tami Hartman, a certified pole instructor, discovered pole in 2011 and credits it with changing her life, inspiring her to share its benefits. Heather Hartman, also a certified pole instructor, brings her lifelong passion for dance, including studies in ballroom and belly dance, aiming to foster inner confidence and highlight the beauty in every student. Spinning Harts provides a comprehensive curriculum that includes a strong focus on pole dancing, with classes ranging from beginner "Pole Dance Glance" to advanced levels, specialized "Intro to Inverts," and "Invert Conditioning." Beyond pole, students can explore a diverse array of disciplines such as Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Aerial arts (including "FabPole Fly" combining aerial fabric/silks with pole), Tap, Barre, Ballroom styles, Salsa, Bachata, and high-energy Zumba. Classes

Beyond Basics Belly Dance

In this class, we will review and build upon the skills from Introduction to Belly Dance. This includes proper posture, safety tips, belly dance technique and drills, and dance movement. Focus is on combinations and original choreographies. We will also cover many topics including culture and history as well as zill drills.

Intro to Belly Dance

In this class, you will learn basic belly dance posture, technique and movement, including shimmies, isolations, and undulations. We will also be covering basic traveling steps and creating easy to learn belly dance combinations. This class is best suited to those new to belly dance.

Yoga Trapeze

An inversion sling yoga class for all fitness levels. This simple device allow you to practice new and different poses in ways that can transform your practice, and in particular, your spinal health, grip strength, core and upper body strength.

ZOOM Yoga

Vinyasa ( which translates to “flowing with breath”) is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga which joins physical postures with inhales and exhales, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. Vinyasa classes are designed to cultivate heat in the body with creative sequences involving sun salutations, standing and seated postures, back bending, arm balancing, and a strong focus on the power of breath awareness. Flow yoga classes tend to be more vigorous and aerobic, and classes can have a variety of music and themes. This vinyasa class includes sitting, standing, and inverted postures, and suggest challenging variations for more advanced students, yet fun and non-intimidating options for newer students. All levels- BEGINNERS WELCOME!

Bungee Fitness

Bungee fitness is a full-body, high-energy workout that combines cardio and strength training using bungee cords. Participants wear a harness connected to bungees that are suspended from the ceiling and can be adjusted for height and resistance. The bungees provide resistance and support, allowing participants to perform a variety of movements, such as jumping, spinning, flipping, and dancing, while feeling weightless.

Handstands & Tumbling

If you've always wanted to be able to do handstands, cartwheels and somersaults, this class is for you! All skills are broken down into progressions. No experience required, but healthy shoulders and ability to a few push-ups is a prereq.

BodyRock

Let's Rock out while working on that rock hard body! No prereqs required. These classes are for all fitness levels. Customized overall full body workout designed to increase your overall fitness and strength for pole. Some exercises will be performed on pole with modifications for the zoom attendee without pole.

Flexibility Training

A Stretching class designed for all fitness levels. Learn proper techniques of stretching, while building flexibility and strength to increase your pole skills.

Pound

Pound is worlds first cardio jam session inspired by the energizing, infectious, sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Unleash your inner Rockstar and come make noise at an upcoming class!

Beginner Pound

This class is an introduction (30 mins) to Pound, which is the world's first cardio jam session inspired by the energizing, infectious, sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Unleash your inner Rockstar and come make noise at an upcoming class! This class is available to all levels of fitness, as we can modify to your fitness level. For ages 12 and up!

Liquid Motion

The Liquid Motion® Class is an open level class that utilizes elements of fitness conditioning, sensual movement, and dance theory, to provide the student with a total mind and body movement experience. In this class, students will learn the Liquid Motion® Fundamentals to build a foundation for floor work & wall work. Students will utilize sensual movement, basic dance theory and self-exploration to create total body awareness. The class includes body conditioning, lateral movement drills, intricate floor flows, exploration of sensual movement, and an understanding of total body awareness. Or as we refer to it, Liquid Motion®! Please bring knee pads, leg warmers, long pants and/or a long sleeve shirt for a better movement experience.

Floorwork

In addition to floor-based tricks and transitions, this class focuses on self-expression through dance and encourages each student to discover their own style.

Chair & Seduction

A blend of dance styles including but not limited to Chair dance, Floor work, and Wall-dance. Learn movement fluidity and transitions in your performance. Stilettos are recommended. This class is suitable for all levels.

Burlesque

Come get your sexy on! This class is open to all fitness levels! Break out those stockings and heels. You will learn stocking & glove removal as well as how to Bump, Grind, and Slide

Lyra Level 2

This class is for students of all ages, sizes who have successfully completed Level 1. Learn different ways to enter the hoop, poses and combinations, and work to build strength and flexible for more advanced skills. Long sleeves and pants recommended. Prereq: Level 1

This class is for students of all ages, sizes and fitness levels. Learn different ways to enter the hoop, beginner poses and combinations, and work to build strength and flexible for more advanced skills. Long sleeves and pants recommended.

Exotic

This 1 hour class is designed to bring out your naughty side. All those things you might consider taboo in our normal pole class, you can let come out while learning exotic dance style tricks, combos and stage presence. This class is for level 1 and above and will teach you to channel your inner video vixen. Feel free to dress the part, bring layers for striptease and heels, if you would like. (also available for purchase). Kneepads are also recommended. Prerequisites: pole climb and fireman sit

Heels

In this beginner exotic flow class, you will learn foundational building blocks for dancing in heels. This class will learn weekly routines and aims to improve musicality and flow around and with the pole. Prerequisites: basic understanding of level 1 criteria. Heels recommended but not required. Kneepads required.

Intermediate Combos & Transitions

Intermediate level 1.5. In this level 1.5 class, you will learn to enter and exit pole moves in creative ways by exploring new paths of movements. You MUST have a strong climb and be comfortable in chair spin, forward spin, and crucifix to take this class. Shorts and kneepads recommended. Heels optional.

FabPole Fly

Learn to Fly with FabPole class; a beautiful combination of aerial fabric/silks and pole dancing to explore the creative you. You will learn moves, combos, and transitions to become familiar with the apparatus and gain fluidity w your movement. Must have attended a Pole Dance Glance class, FabPole Intro1 and Intro2.

Base Work

Learn how to combine floorwork and pole tricks around the bottom third of the pole. Kneepads are recommended. Must be 18 years or older

Level 4 Pole

This class is for the advanced student. You must have instructor approval to attend. You must be comfortable with inside/outside leg hangs, inverting comfortably unassisted, and climbing 3 times without touching the ground.

Level 3 Pole

Advanced Pole classes. You must have taken Level 1 and Level 2 classes, be able to invert from the floor and aerial invert without assistance and be comfortable in your crucifix, butterfly, both inside and outside leg hangs, and be able to climb 3 times without touching the floor to attend this class.

Level 2 Pole

This class is not for everyone. You must have completed 8 L1 classes and have an instructor's approval to take this class. Students must be able to climb, sit & stand easily before attending. Intermediate level.

Level 1 Static Pole

This class is for all ages, sizes and fitness levels. We recommend attending this class &/or L1, &/or Back to Basics at least 1x per week for a minimum of 8 weeks. Learn the foundations of pole while building strength and confidence. Learn techniques for spins, transitions, climbs and sits while on a static pole.

Invert Conditioning

This class is intermediate level. You will practice drills used to increase your invert performance. You must have completed 8 L1 classes or have an instructor's approval to take this class. Students must be able to climb, sit & stand easily before attending.

Intro to Inverts

This class is not for everyone. You must have an instructor's approval to take this class. This class will be a breakdown of how to do various inversions.

Level 2 & 3 Spin Pole

Advanced pole classes. You must have an instructor's approval to attend this class.

Level 1 Spin

This class is for all ages, sizes and fitness levels. We recommend attending this class &/or Back to Basics at least 1x per week for a minimum of 8 weeks. Learn the foundations of pole while building strength and confidence. Learn techniques for spins, transitions, climbs and sits. You must have attended a Pole Dance Glance before attending a level 1.

Pole Dance Glance

This is where the journey begins! This is a mandatory class for all students. This class is for students of all ages, sizes and fitness levels. Learn techniques for warm-up, shoulder positioning, handholds, walking, spins and core strengthening.

My goal in each of my classes is to show, by example, how beautiful everyone is and how they can build inner confidence and empowerment through pole. From personal experience, I know that pole can be a life changing journey.
