Lanzi Academy of Dance Inc, located in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, is a premier dance education destination with a rich history dating back to 1949. Originally founded as the Katy Lyon Dance Center, the studio has been a cornerstone of dance instruction for generations, with current owner Christina Lanzi-John continuing the legacy of her predecessors, Katy Lyon, Mia Palumbo Faris, and Tara (Spaw) Fronczek. The academy offers a comprehensive and diverse curriculum designed for students of all levels and ages, fostering a passion for dance in a supportive and engaging environment. Our wide range of disciplines includes foundational styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Lyrical, alongside popular contemporary genres like Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Acrobatic dance. For younger dancers, themed drop-in classes for ages 2-4, such as 'Frozen Frenzy' and 'K-Pop Hunters,' provide a fun introduction to creative movement. Partner dancing is also explored through Ballroom classes.
