The Studio :A dance and performing Arts Center

Our mature and experienced teachers focus on clean technique as well as love of movement in a wide variety of dance forms. Classes consist of barre and floor warm-ups, simple to more complicated center work, and some solo exercises across the floor.

Learn Classical Jazz based on Matt Mattox's technique and influenced by Luigi and Linn Simonson. This 60 minute class includes warm up, technique exercises, choreography and stretching. This is a mixed level class where students can work at their own level and improve their flexibility,strength and dance technique. ​

If you are looking for an hour to relieve your mind of stress, to learn something new and have some fun, then this is the class for you! Students in this class are introduced to the techniques through barre work, "across the floor", and center work. There is no prerequisite for this class, except a willingness to learn and to let go.

Brian usually runs Tap workshops in Intermediate and Advanced Tap but due to the pandemic he is holding walk in classes in E-Z and Advanced Tap.

Adult Intermediate/Advanced Ballet - This level is for students who have taken Ballet before at a more advanced level and includes pointe for those who wish to participate.

Teen/Adult Beginner - This is taught in the classical tradition for teens and adults who have always wanted to take ballet lessons or for those who stopped years ago and want to start again. A dult Ballet Intermediate - This is a class for teens and adults that have danced before and wish to continue and work on technique.​

Cathy Blaney teaches Teen Broadway Jazz/Tap combo in periodic sessions that run 6 to 8 weeks at a time.
