Professional-Amateur Competitions

Compete with a professional dance partner. Have you ever watched “Dancing with the Stars” and thought to yourself, “I can totally do that?” If the thought of competing excites you… Pro-Am Competitions are the way to go! In the United States alone, there are over 50 competitions for ballroom dancers… so what are you waiting for? Taking private lessons with a professional partner is the most productive and exciting way to start excelling at ballroom dance. As your partner is will be your instructor, confidant, cheerleader, support system, and teammate. With years of experience and training in different styles, I will tailor lessons to help you succeed. We will attend Professional-Amateur competitions and compete against other couples in similar age brackets and levels, all while being judged by the most experienced and talented judges in the world. These men and women are retired ballroom dance professionals who have now been certified as judges in the four styles of ballroom dancing: American Smooth, American Rhythm, International Standard, and International Latin. Competitions are held in beautiful ballrooms over three to four consecutive days, each day showcasing one of the four styles. Competing challenges your body both physically and mentally while also providing opportunities to travel and meet new people.

Each plan is tailored to each couple's budget, schedule, style, comfort level and unique requests. Whether you are looking from a traditional slow dance, to “The Time of My Life” Wedding dance, i will make sure you are confident to rock the dance floor on that special day. I take all factors into consideration, including type of music, dress, size of the dance floor, shoes, and everything else. My goal is to make sure you and your partner are comfortable and confident in every step you take towards that special moment. I also specialize in Father-Daughter dance, Mother-Son dance and Bridal Party dance. Don't wait until the last minute! I will focus solely on the improvement of the student and effectively target areas of improvement as they arise. With a custom built curriculum for each and every student, all lessons build upon each other, allowing for continuous learning. There is never a shortage of new things to discover!
