BALLET LEVEL III

Our Level III Ballet Technique class is designed for advanced dancers with a strong technical foundation who are ready to elevate their skills. Dancers will focus on advanced allegro including multiple pirouettes, grand jetés, intricate adagio combinations, and complex barre and center work. Each class emphasizes strength, control, flexibility, and musicality—challenging dancers to refine their artistry, precision, and performance quality.

BALLET LEVEL II

Our Level II Ballet Technique class guides dancers through essential ballet fundamentals, including pliés, tendus, dégagés, battements, and introductory turns and jumps. Each class focuses on refining technique through alignment, core strength, and flexibility—equipping dancers with the control, grace, and discipline needed for continued progress. Level II serves as a foundational stepping stone in our ballet training program, preparing dancers for Level III of classical technique and performance.

GROOVE

Groove is a fun and energetic open-level hip-hop dance class for ages 6+. This fun class inspires creativity and teaches the fundamentals of hip-hop technique. Students will develop coordination, strength, dance technique, rhythm, and body awareness in a caring, exciting, nurturing environment. This class is an excellent way for dancers to be introduced to the many benefits of the performing arts.

JAZZ TECHNIQUE LEVEL II

Our level II Jazz Technique class dancers will train in essential jazz techniques including leaps, turns, battements, and progressions across the floor. Each class focuses on refining technique through strength training, conditioning, and flexibility—equipping dancers with the tools they need to move with precision, control, and confidence. Level II serves as a foundational stepping stone in our jazz training program, preparing dancers for Level III of training.

JAZZ TECHNIQUE LEVEL III

Our Level III Jazz Technique class is designed for advanced dancers who have a strong technical foundation and are ready to push their skills to the next level. Dancers will continue to train in advanced leaps, multiple pirouettes, battements, intricate progressions, and stylized combinations across the floor. Each class emphasizes strength, control, flexibility, and musicality—challenging dancers to refine their artistry, execution, and performance quality.

OPEN LEVEL ACRO

Tumbling is centered on fundamental acrobatic technique to increase flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, timing, body awareness, self-discipline, and confidence. Classes focus on proper hand placement and body alignment with emphasis on the muscles and flexibility required to perform proper technique. Dancers will learn forward rolls, backwards rolls, cartwheels, bridges and more!

CONTEMPORARY

Contemporary combines ballet, jazz and modern techniques with musical and emotional expression. Dancers will work on ability to pick up stylized choreography and movements. Recommended for dancers age 10+ with some prior dance experience.

PRE-K & MINI BALLET/TAP/JAZZ

This is an introductory class containing ballet, jazz and tap. Dancers will learn the basic steps of ballet and tap while learning how to follow direction and imitate movement. The goal is to prepare these young dancers to move on into higher levels of ballet class in a positive and fun environment. Engaging music is used to get these little ones inspired to dance.

BEG/INT. TAP

This fun and rhythmic class introduces dancers to the fundamentals of tap while continuing to build on technique and timing. Dancers will work on basic to intermediate steps such as shuffles, flaps, cramp rolls, time steps, and simple combinations. Emphasis is placed on musicality, clarity of sound, and building confidence through rhythm and repetition. This class is perfect for dancers with some prior tap experience or enthusiastic beginners ready to learn in an encouraging, upbeat environment.

BEG/INT. BALLET

This class reviews basic ballet steps and vocabulary. Ballet provides an excellent grounding for other dance styles, and Ballet is the ultimate when it comes to the control of your body. It will help improve every aspect of your body’s fitness, including posture, muscle tone, flexibility, core strength, and artistic expression.

INDUSTRY HIP-HOP (ADVANCED)

Industry Hip-Hop is a fast-paced and energetic dance style that encompasses a wide range of street styles. This class specifically focuses on performance quality, dynamics, and coordination while encouraging individual style. Hip hop is a culture, which includes a lot more than dance. Hip hop uplifted generations of people in difficult socio-economic conditions, particularly in the African American and Hispanic communities of the Bronx where it originated. There is so much more to this culture and history, so feel free to chat with us if you are interested in digging deeper!

MOVEMENT MENDS (Open Level)

Movement Mends is an expressive dance form with a free, artistic, and creative feel through contemporary-styled movement. This class focuses on performance and movement quality while centering your energy through body-mind connection. Dance is a way to mend and heal—this is the perfect class to get in your feels. Whether you've never danced a day in your life, you used to dance when you were younger and took a break, or you're advanced, this class helps you put the YOU in your dancing.

OPEN LEVEL BALLET

Whether you’re rediscovering your love for ballet or continuing to grow your technique, this class offers a supportive space to move, learn, and refine your artistry. With a focus on strength, balance, and grace, dancers of all experience levels are encouraged to find joy and confidence in their movement.

POINTE FONDATIONS

A technique-based class dedicated to developing the strength and alignment required for pointe work. Dancers will focus on proper foot articulation, core stability, and safe transitions on and off pointe. Prior ballet experience required.

ADVANCED TECHNIQUE

This class is for advanced dancers with previous technical training. This class will build on prior knowledge and the ability to develop precision and accuracy in technical skills. Dancers will work on proper alignment, strength, flexibility, understanding of body awareness, and mobility to help improve their execution of leaps, turns, jumps, extensions, and other dance skills/tricks. Class will include warm-up, isolations, stretches, and across-the-floor progressions. It feels incredible to nail these moves, and it is the closest feeling you'll get to flying!

COMMERCIAL CHOREO + HEELS (INT/ADV.)

Commercial dance is a highly stylized dance style that focuses primarily on learning and embodying choreography. It incorporates movements from hip-hop, jazz, house, and contemporary dance. It features a mixture of hard-hitting, detailed movement contrasted with fluid and sustained choreography. A strong emphasis is placed on performance quality and building confidence within your own execution. Heels and sneakers are both used in this style, and dancers will explore each as their technique and confidence grow. If you are new to dancing in heels, please make sure that you are comfortable walking and moving in them before wearing them in class. Wear heels that are supportive to your ankle. If you are uncomfortable in heels, any comfortable shoes are welcome!

ADV. CONTEMPORARY

Contemporary blends several types of dance into its own unique style. It includes elements of ballet, jazz, modern, and even hip hop. Contemporary dance encourages dancers to be versatile in their expressions and to be able to portray a wide array of movement styles and emotions. It focuses on spatial and body awareness, use of body weight, floor work, technique, efficiency of muscle usage, musicality and safe body alignment. Technical dance experience is recommended for this class.
