Rhythms Dance Company

Our Competition team is chosen after an audition process that occurs after our year end recital showcase. Dancers must be 8 years old in May to audition for a competition team.

This is a combined Tap/Ballet class for 3 -4 year olds to learn the basics of these genres through creative movement and manipulatives.These classes teach rhythm, balance, coordination, and confidence using fun music and props.

This class combines the techniques and stretching of jazz and ballet with the fun and frills of acting. Think Broadway performance! Dancers will learn how to dance and perform with their bodies, faces, and emotions in this class.

These classes are 1 hour and offer 30 minutes instruction in 2 different genres. These are great classes if your dancer is trying to decide what genre they enjoy the most or if they want to learn more than one genre without having to dance multiple days.

These 2 genres stem from a foundation in Jazz and Ballet, and are taught using stretching, core conditioning, improving, and across the floor combinations to progress from Novice level through Advanced level.

Our classes teach the fundamentals and technique of classical Ballet by using creative movement (Tempo Tots) and Barre and floor work in Novice, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels.

This 30 minute class allows a parent to attend class with their dancer to have some fun learning creative movement and beginning technique using instructional songs and props.

This fun genre is taught using creative footwork and isolations of the body to match the beats and tempo of the music. We offer this genre from Novice - Advanced and an Adult class.

Our tap instruction mixes hoofing and soft shoe to give a well rounded understanding of this upbeat genre. We offer classes from the Novice - Advanced and an Adult class.

Our jazz instruction has a broad scope from old school Fosse to new day Mia Michaels style jazz and a bit of everything in between. Our instruction uses stretching, core conditioning, and across the floor combinations to help dancers progress from Novice level through Advanced level.
