For Early Childhood classes, ages 2-8, the age generally determines the class that is most appropriate. We recommend that you plan on placing your child in the same class for the entire school year, so they will bond with the other students in their class.

An instructor will lead the children through an hour of dance ballet, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre, cheer or tumbling activities and games, and/or a craft project.

We accept enrollment year round for our recreation classes but cannot guarantee recital participation for students enrolled after December. Consistent attendance allows teachers to help progress your dancer in technique and allows us to best prepare our classes for performances.

Our Elite Company performs at the top industry dance competitions and events and are honored for their top notch choreography, technique, strength, professionalism, and sportsmanship. Our dancers have garnered numerous high-point, top overall, choreography and special awards for solos, duos/trios and groups across the nation . Our goal for Releve' Elite Company is to provide and prepare our dancers with the best training and experience while cultivating love and respect for the highest standard in DANCE. We are proud to be known as one of Tennessee's most versatile dance studios, training our dancers in every single style of dance. Our dancers range in age from 4 to 19 and comprise several different competitive teams that receive the utmost in technical and physical training from some of the most talented instructors. The competition season is from January/February to June/July with technique intensives and auditions the beginning of August and new team training starting soon after.

Our BDC Babies and Pre Company programs are for dancers ages 4-9 years old who love to dance and perform. BDC Babies and Pre Company members are required to attend weekly technique classes and rehearsals but the time commitment is less than our Releve' Elite Company members. This is a great stepping stone to our Elite Company and we believe that the younger you start the better set for success you will be. These teams are also a great option for parents looking for a lower financial commitment than our Releve' Elite Company.

Is your dancer looking for something beyond a weekly class? Are they itching to perform more than once a year? One of our performance teams may be just what you are looking for! If you love to perform, we have the perfect stage. Being part of a team is an incredible experience for all dancers. It teaches teamwork, self-esteem, discipline, cooperation, listening skills, responsibility, friendships, and of course, DANCE! Our performance team program requires a placement audition and a one year commitment of dedication from both dancers and parents. Competition teams range from 1 hour/wk to 5 hours/wk or more. Please feel free to call us, come in and see what we are about, meet our teachers and director, try a class! We are sure you will be impressed! We have Performance Teams for ages 4-18 in all genres.

These classes are for the serious dancer and in order to be considered a dancer must audition or personally be invited by Ms. Talia. Classes include: flexibility and conditioning for dancers, ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acro, hip hop, ballroom and musical theatre and leaps and turns technique. Dancers in these programs take class 3-4 days a week.

These classes focus on leap and turn technique as well as flexibility. They are designed for teens aged 12 and older.

This class focuses on building strength, cardio, and core exercises for teens aged 12 and older.

Focuses on learning proper dance technique and exploring the various dance styles used in Broadway musicals for teens.

This class teaches individual tap technique and step combinations for teens aged 12 and older.

Lyrical/Contemporary combines the beauty of ballet with the strength of jazz & modern, creating a unique style of dance. This class focuses on strength, technique, fluidity, balance, extension and emotion.

This class focuses on technique, terminology, strength, and flexibility for teens aged 12 and older.

A high energy class with a focus on turns, isolations, flexibility, and leaps for teens aged 12 and older.

This class teaches fundamental hip-hop dance technique for teens aged 12 and older.

These classes focus on leap and turn technique as well as flexibility. They are designed for youth dancers aged 9-12.

These classes are for the dancer that is just starting to compete. The students in these class will compete in one competition located in the Knoxville area.

Acrobatics teaches flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline & concentration. This class is for youth dancers aged 9-12.

Focuses on learning proper dance technique and exploring the various dance styles used in Broadway musicals.

Little dancers love to move and pretend, and we utilize these natural tendencies to gently introduce them to the dance world. Dancers need to work in their own body space and wait their turn, they need to learn to respect the studio, the teacher and understand what each piece of equipment in the dance room is used for.

Acrobatics teaches flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline & concentration. This class is for dancers ages 4 and older who want to learn acrobatics.

This class is designed for our youngest dancers who want to express their independence without the assistance of mom or dad. Dancers will have fun learning pre-ballet movement to popular children's music through singing and movement games.
