About Center Stage School of Dance

Center Stage School of Dance, located in Union City, Tennessee, has been fostering a love for dance and cultivating well-rounded dancers since its founding in the summer of 2015. Under the direction of Morgan Sutton since 2022, who began her own dance journey at age three and boasts extensive experience including time with the University of Tennessee at Martin dance team, the studio offers a rich heritage of dance expertise with over 150 years of collective experience from its mentors. Miss Morgan's passion for teaching, working with children and teenagers, and passing down quality instruction through generations is at the heart of Center Stage's mission. The studio welcomes dancers ages 18 months to 18 years, providing a nurturing, fun, positive, and safe environment for young artists to grow and thrive. Center Stage emphasizes a strong foundation in core techniques, believing that a comprehensive study creates versatile performers. The curriculum includes ballet, with students learning the esteemed Cecchetti method for grace and technique, tap for rhythmic expression, jazz for flexibility and body isolation, and acrobatics/tumbling. Hip hop is also offered, allowing students to explore dynamic urban styles, and pointe preparation is available for older, experienced dancers. With over 20 years of dedicated experience from trained instructors, Center Stage aims to make the dream of dancing accessible to all, keeping costs affordable, and understands that dance is about personal growth, building confidence, making lifelong friends, and developing into beautiful, graceful individuals.
