Nadia's School Of Dance

Pointe is only open to dancers who have mastered the necessary level of Ballet and have been approved by Miss Nadia. Pointe is a 60 minute class and is run similarly to other Ballet classes in terms of focus and discipline. The difference, however, is that students wear pointe shoes.

During classes the student will learn a routine while they also learn the fundamentals of cheerleading, such as cheer motion, jumps, basic tumbling, stunting and cheer dance. This team will perform from 3 to 4 competitions during the season.

Lyrical dance is a dance style that blends Ballet and Jazz. Lyrical is generally smoother and a bit faster than Ballet, but not quite as fast as Jazz. A Lyrical dancer uses movement to express strong emotions such as love and joy.

Music, Movement, Balance and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly, and positive way the mom and the child join together, for the purpose that the child gain confident and security in the early stage.

This Drill Team Elite technique class prepares the students for all their yearly Drill Team process (Try outs, Football Season, and Competition)

In this class we work on developing technique as a foundation for all other dance styles , such as flexibility, proper turns, leaps, jumps, and tricks.

Child will learn and master basic skills such as cartwheels, round-offs, walkovers, and back handsprings. No experience needed to participate.

A one hour and a half combination class introducing Classical Ballet with proper placement of feet and arms, Tap and Jazz using movement and rhythm to learn basic dance skills. Singing included.

A 1-hour class incorporating footwork and skirt technique from the different regions in Mexico.

A 1-hour class incorporating zapateado, faldeado, muñecas, palmas, shawl, fan, and castanet work .

Our innovative Jazz classes are on the cutting edge combining traditional techniques with todays latest styles.

Contortion (sometimes contortionism) is a performance art in which performers showcase their skills of extreme physical flexibility.

A one-hour choreography class using the latest styles of Hip-Hop and Funk. Fast and hard-hitting movement that can include Breaking and tricks. Strong Jazz technique required.

Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms and it provides grace, poise, and technique needed to be proficient in all other areas of dance.
