Starrsteppers Dance Studio, located in the heart of historic downtown Logan, Utah, has been a cornerstone of dance education and passion for nearly four decades. Founded in 1985 by owner and instructor Tina Simmons, who brings a wealth of personal experience from her own extensive dance journey, Starrsteppers has dedicated itself to nurturing young performers and inspiring confidence, self-esteem, teamwork, kindness, and a love for movement. The studio offers a diverse range of programs for dancers aged 3 to 23, fostering dedication and responsibility through a well-rounded dance education. Starrsteppers boasts an extensive curriculum including popular styles such as Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Lyrical, alongside basic beginning tumbling. Students can engage in both competitive and non-competitive classes, with options for performing teams. Specialized programs like Starz Pom, Stepperz Hip Hop, and Shooting Starz Tumbling cater to various interests and skill levels. The studio prides itself on providing a positive, affordable, and supportive environment, led by a dedicated faculty of qualified instructors committed to helping every dancer reach their fullest potential. The team includes Jenni Noack, Heather Davis, Savannah Salvesen, Blaire Paull, Miranda Vanderbeek, Kayla Rittel, Star Lyon, Morgan Simmons, Emma Bradley, Katriel Reeve, Kamree Simmons, Amy Ernstrom, Alyssa Robison, Joel Elliott, and Lacie Andersen, many of whom honed their skills at Starrsteppers. Students gain valuable stage experience through a Christmas program, a spring revue, and several competitions.
