MODERN & JAZZ II & III

Building on foundational training, these classes introduce more advanced elements of jazz and modern technique, with a focus on turns, leaps, jumps, and complex combinations across the floor. Dancers engage in both standing and floor work to develop core strength, flexibility, and control. Each class also incorporates repertoire and guided improvisation, encouraging creativity and confident expression.

MODERN & JAZZ I

Our Jazz and Modern program is structured in four-week modules, alternating monthly between the two techniques to give dancers a well-rounded experience. The jazz syllabus draws from the classic styles of Fosse and Giordano, while the modern syllabus is rooted in the foundational techniques of Lester Horton and Martha Graham. In addition to technical training, dancers will explore creative expression and build improvisation skills in a supportive, high-energy environment.

POINTE II

For students who have trained a minimum of two years en pointe, upon the recommendation of a teacher. Dancers must take a minimum of two ballet classes per week to be eligible for pointe. This advanced class focuses on refining pointe technique through complex footwork, center work, turns, and elevating technique and artistry. Dancers are challenged to build strength, precision, and expressive movement, with cross-training for stability and injury prevention encouraged beyond the studio to support well-rounded development.

POINTE I

Dancers must take a minimum of two ballet classes per week and be a minimum age of 10 to be eligible. Designed for dancers in their first two years of pointe work, this class focuses on developing strength, stability, and proper technique. Most exercises are performed at the barre to ensure safety and control, with a strong emphasis on correct foot articulation and alignment. Cross-training exercises are introduced to support overall conditioning, helping students gain the confidence and foundation needed for continued pointe progress.

PRE-POINTE

Preparing dancers for the strength and precision of pointe work, this class emphasizes proper foot alignment, articulation, turnout, and core stability through targeted strength training and conditioning. Dancers also receive education in anatomy and foot care to support safe, sustainable technique. Those ready for pointe work will learn about the fitting process, as well as how to sew, tie, and care for their shoes—all essential steps in beginning their pointe journey with confidence.

BALLET IV

Designed for advanced-level dancers, this traditional ballet class features a full barre and center, with a strong emphasis on technique, placement, strength, and flexibility. Dancers also explore classical music and musicality, artistic expression, classical repertoire, and the professional etiquette essential to a serious ballet education.

BALLET III

An expansion of our Beginner and Beginner-Intermediate curriculum, this level offers a more rigorous approach to ballet training. Dancers will engage in pre-pointe work, strength and conditioning, Pilates, and anatomy-based instruction, all designed to support safe technique and refined alignment. With an emphasis on footwork, control, and classical repertoire, students deepen their technical foundation while building the strength and artistry needed for more advanced levels.

BALLET IIB

Building on Ballet IIA, this class involves a more advanced curriculum.

BALLET IIA

This curriculum is designed to help young dancers develop, learn, and feel empowered in their dance experience. Classes expand on the beginner syllabus and include more advanced barre and center work, turns, classical ballet repertoire, basic anatomy, and choreography and composition.

BALLET IB

This class builds on the foundations of Ballet IA/B with more complex combinations, refined technique, and a greater focus on musicality and coordination. This developmentally appropriate class challenges dancers to grow in strength, confidence, and artistry.

BALLET IA/B

This transitional class is perfect for dancers ready to build on their foundation before advancing to Ballet IB. With a slightly quicker pace, it’s especially well-suited for mature 5-year-olds eager for more challenge, structure, and growth in their ballet training.

BALLET IA

Perfect for 5-year-olds ready for a slightly longer and more fast-paced class, this imaginative experience blends creativity with foundational ballet technique. Using playful props and engaging activities, dancers explore arm and foot positions, body awareness, barre and center work, and beginner steps (with their French names!). Along the way, they'll build memorization skills, musicality, and confidence—all while learning proper classroom etiquette.

EXPLORING BALLET

Designed especially for preschoolers, this class introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of classical ballet through imaginative movement, games, and music. They'll explore basic positions, learn simple steps (and their fancy French names!), and practice classroom etiquette—all while building confidence and independence. Caregivers get to watch from the observation doors, as dancers participate on their own in a supportive, engaging environment made just for them.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT

This class is for our little movers just beginning their dance journey, blending playful movement, music, and rhythm through nursery rhymes, songs, and imaginative games. Caregivers join in the fun, becoming an active part of each child’s learning and discovery. With colorful props and creative activities, dancers build motor skills, confidence, and social connections—all in a nurturing, interactive environment. Caregiver participation required.
