Theater Tap - level II
Bring your jazz hands! Tap dancers taking Theater (Broadway) tap can expect the type of show dancing seen in live stage musicals and in Hollywood films. This class will typically incorporate more arm movements, artistic body movements, and movements across the dance floor than rhythm tap dancing. Dancers can expect simpler and more predictable rhythms, more formations, and lots of personality! This is an intermediate leveled class. Dancers should hav e at least 2-3 years of tap dance experience before joining.
Tap II
Typically, for those with at least 3-years of tap dance experience. Expect to combine steps to create upbeat and interesting across-the-floor rhythms, as well as learn short dance combinations that keep everyone on their toes and moving. You will be introduced to syncopation and varied tempos. These classes incorporate rhythm and Broadway tap styles in fun and unique ways. They differ from Tap 1/2 in that you will be expected to remember and combine steps in a quicker manner, be able to tap dance with increased speed, and will be asked to remember longer combinations. Tap I
A class for those with at least 4 months of current tap dance experience or anyone finishing our Intro to Tap series. You will learn to combine steps so you can perform Shim-Shim, Time Step, Shirley Temple , Waltz Clog . In this level, you'll begin learning basic time steps. We also dance across the floor and learn small combinations. Tap dance history is integrated in to each class through a short discussion or video. Beginner Salsa - Level 1
Dancers will begin with a musicality-focused warm-up and then learn a fresh combo each class. Dancers will work on a variety of partner connections and different techniques will be introduced through out these classes.
Intro to Contemporary
Intro to contemporary classes are perfect for anyone who wants to learn this beautiful dance style, but has no previous experience. Expect to meet your creative potential and learn the technique needed to move your body in a graceful, yet powerful way, in order to tell a story through movement. Contemporary is a dance style that is influenced by and pulls elements from jazz, ballet, and modern dance. It requires some dance technique, but allows a greater freedom of expression than other dance styles. In theses classes, dancers will have the opportunity to express themselves through movement and the freedom of individual interpretation. We invite clients to modify to their bodies - This class will be tuned to the individuals taking it.
Ballet II/III & III
These intermediate ballet classes are for clients with years of ballet experience, and have a great understanding of ballet technique. Our intermediate ballet classes will help you advance your technique at barre, in center and across the floor. Compared to Ballet II, expect more complex steps and combinations to be introduced. You will be given the opportunity to ask questions relating to ballet technique, anatomy, flexibility and performance.
Ballet I/II & II
This class is for clients with at least one to two years ballet experience. It will help you advance your technique at barre, in center and across the floor. Compared to Ballet I, dancers should expect slightly more complex steps and combinations to be introduced. You will be given the opportunity to ask questions relating to ballet technique, anatomy, flexibility and performance.
Ballet I
This is the perfect ballet class for someone with at least 9 months of ballet experience or who has taken Intro to Ballet with us. You will be expected to know basic ballet positions, vocabulary, ballet class etiquette, and understand the foundations of the ballet barre and center work. You will be given the opportunity to ask questions r elating to ballet technique and performance. Over time, this class will introduce everything you need to confidently step into a level 1/2 Ballet class.
Tap Technique
Work on your technique in these classes geared towards making your tap dancing cleaner, fasters, and more precise. Expect to learn new steps and variations of steps. We will also work on cleaning up sounds and transitions between steps. These classes will not include a dance routine, but will instead incorporate across-the-floor and center work exercises. Tap dance history is integrated in to each class through a short discussion or video.
Stretch & Mobility
Not only do muscles get weaker with age, but if they do not get enough use they also become tighter over time. You can avoid this stiffening effect as you continue to stretch. Because you can improve your flexibility at any age, this class is designed for all ages of adults. Modifications will be given for those more or less flexible. This class is designed for anyone who wants to increase flexibility, work on increased mobility, educate themselves about injury prevention. Stretching often gets pushed aside due to time restraints and lack of knowledge, but in this class we will unlock your body's potential and take you to a new level of mobility, confidence, and self-care.

1980s Cardio Dance
Step back in time and have fun with us, all in true 80's fashion! This 1980's music inspired cardio and conditioning class will have you moving to the upbeat music you loved from the 1980s! Expect a thorough stretch session before enjoying a medium-intensity cardio workout. For the last portion of class, we will focus on core, leg, and arm strength conditioning before stretching and cooling down. This is a medium intensity class. As always, we encourage you to modify the moves depending on your strength, endurance, and ability. No formal dance training is required to take this class.
Jazz I/II
Kim's Beginner Jazz class is for dancers with some basic dance or movement experience. In each class, you will enjoy a thorough stretch and strengthening session, time to practice fundamental jazz dance technique, all while having fun moving across the floor and in center floor routines. Clients can expect more of a classic jazz class technique in this class. Drop-in clients are always welcome! Jazz or ballet shoes recommended, but class can also be taken barefoot.
K-Pop I (beginner)

Jazz I
Clients will spend the first part of class warming up. After warm-up, expect to cover foundational jazz technique in center and across the floor. Each class will conclude with a fun routine that incorporates some of the technique practiced during class. Hip Hop Cardio
Get lost in the music as you move to the current and iconic tracks heard in clubs and on the radio. Our Hip Hop Cardio class combines dance moves and toning routines in to an energetic and upbeat class for all alges of adults to enjoy! This class is for anyone that wants to have a good time while working out and feel young doing it. You can expect a mix of dance steps, squats, arm toning, and endurance training through out class.
Zumba
Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. These are great classes for anyone who has more than a few years of dance experience, or for anyone who feels confident when attending Hip Hop 2 classes and is looking for more challenge. Rizzmic
We'll take you on a 60-minute roller coaster ride through the last 100 years of America's hottest dance crazes! After an AFAA approved warm up sequence, we delve right into the melting pot of dance styles, then end with a cool down and stretch. The Rizzmic Experience qualifies as HIIT exercise, which stands for High Intensity Interval Training.
Beginner Contemporary (level I/II)

In theses classes, dancers will have the opportunity to express themselves through movement and the freedom of individual interpretation. Please expect some exercises to be done on the floor, and consider bringing knee pads. This class will be tuned to the individuals taking it.

These classes are more ballet-centric compared to our contemporary classes, which pull more elements from jazz and include more floorwork.
Barre Workout
Our barre classes are fitness classes combining ballet inspired movements with elements of pilates and strength training. We focus on high reps of small and medium range moves to most effectively challenge both the dominant and supporting muscle groups. This low-impact, medium-intensity full body workout will lift and tone the muscles, and improve strength, agility, and flexibility for every body.
Morning Harmony Stretch & Balance
This class is great for maintaining fitness and flexibility without over stressing joints, adrenals or your mind. Easy to follow, you’ll move at a steady relaxed pace and learn more about yourself through body/mind practices lend themselves well to experiencing harmony both on and off the mat. Excellent for regular practitioners and new students alike. You will explore many seated and supine poses with a sprinkling of standing and balancing poses. Dancers will focus on the fundamentals first: foot patterns, rhythm, and partner connection. A typical class includes footwork drills to music, basic partner work, and then a combination that builds on the foundational patterns. We will include a quick review of the previous week’s material before introducing new content. Even if students miss a week, they can still catch up. Please know that it is common for brand-new dancers to take Intro to Salsa multiple times before advancing to beginner-level 1 classes.

Intro to Tap classes are perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to tap dance, but has no experience. You will learn the fundamental steps of tap dance, connect basic steps, and learn how to anticipate the next step and successfully transfer weight from one foot to another when connecting tap steps. You will have opportunities to listen to your tap steps with no music, but also enjoy dancing to different genres of music. You will enjoy dancing across the floor and performing small combinations as a group with others. Once this session ends, you will have the knowledge needed to take any of our ongoing weekly Tap 1 classes. Tap dance history is integrated in to each class through a short discussion or video.
Intro to Hip Hop
We welcome all ages of adults to join these stress-free, fun and energetic classes. This is a perfect series for anyone who wants to learn hip hop and urban movement, but has no previous experience. In each class, you can expect a thorough warm-up session, followed by a breakdown of hip hop technique and stylistic body movements. The knowledge you learn in the technique and drills portion of class will then be put to use, as you put steps together to create shorter combinations towards the end of class. These combos will be broken down for the beginner dancer, and time will be allowed for questions. After attending this 2-month month series, dancers should have the knowledge needed to confidently take our Hip Hop 1 classes.
Intro to Scottish Highland Dancing
Interested in exploring a cultural form of dance rooted in Scottish tradition? Join us for an 8-week series on Scottish Highland dance! Highland dance has been around for centuries, but you will find that it contains many movements similar to other forms of dance such as tap and ballet. During our eight classes together, you will be introduced to basic movements, steps, and dances from the Royal Scottish Official Board of Highland Dance Highland textbook.
Scottish Highland Dance
Interested in exploring a cultural form of dance rooted in Scottish tradition? Join us for an 8-week series on Scottish Highland dance! Highland dance has been around for centuries, but you will find that it contains many movements similar to other forms of dance such as tap and ballet. During our eight classes together, you will be introduced to basic movements, steps, and dances from the Royal Scottish Official Board of Highland Dance Highland textbook. In addition to learning movements and steps from dances such as the Highland Fling and Scottish Lilt, we will cover some of the history of Highland dance, costuming, and more. Highland dance involves a lot of hopping and springing, so be prepared for a good cardio workout! Each class will begin with thorough warm-up and will incorporate cross-training exercises to best prepare the body for Highland movements. Prior dance experience is strongly recommended.
