This class is for any adult who has clogged in the past or is a beginner wanting to learn! This class will be a great workout and a lot of fun for all participants!
Barre Fitness
Barre is a low-impact fitness class which uses movement inspired by ballet, yoga, and Pilates. The ballet barre is used for balance while doing exercises which focus on strength training and contracting a specific set of muscles. We will do lots of reps combined with small range-of-motion movements. The goal is to lengthen and sculpt muscles, to increase flexibility, and to improve body mechanics. The Barre class is demanding and requires focus, and it will help you face the rest of your day calmly, confidently, and healthfully. The Barre class is set to upbeat music and starts with a short warm-up sequence followed by upper-body exercises, push-ups and planks. Light weights may be used. The class also includes ballet barre or floor exercises which focus on the lower body, followed by some stretching. No dance experience is required. All types of people take Barre classes. Modifications are offered, and students are challenged but work at their own pace. Safety and correct positioning are very important. The Barre class is done barefoot or sometimes with socks, and please bring a yoga or exercise mat if you have one. If not, there are some mats available at the studio.

Twirling 3
This class is for the advanced twirler. They learn more difficult twirls and tosses and progress to twirling two batons. This is a difficult class and attendance is a must. The children do group tosses that require good attendance to be able to practice them properly. They also do difficult tricks that require more practice as a group to perfect. To be invited to participate in this class the student must participate in Twirling II as well. They must also excel past the skills of Twirling II. Eligibility to participate in this class will be determined by the instructor.
Twirling 2
This class is for the intermediate level (usually ages 9-13). This class concentrates on learning more twirls and proper ways to toss the baton. They also learn the rules of twirling. This is a difficult class and attendance is a must. The children will do group tosses that require good attendance to be able to practice them properly.
Twirling 1
This class is for the beginner. This class concentrates on proper baton handling. Students will go from learning how to hold your baton to the proper directions to twirl it. Students will learn basic twirls and marching.
Turns & Leaps
This is a technique class designed to assist students in focusing on leaps, turns, jumps, and flexibility. Dancers will focus on center jumps, tilt jumps, c-jumps, center leaps, calypsos, firebirds, right and left leaps, leaps in second, center turns, pirouettes, fouetté / ala seconde turns, right and left turns across the floor, chaínés, all splits, etc. Leaps and turns are essential in skill building to present dance as more refined from a technical perspective.
14 & up Tap
This class is for high school students and the experienced tapper. Difficult combinations, rhythms, and choreography will be learned through the semester. Both a capella and rhythms will be explored.
11-13 Tap
This class is for middle school students and the intermediate tapper. Intermediate combinations, rhythms, and choreography will be learned through the semester.
8-10 Tap
This class is for the beginner+ (ages 8-10) tapper. Beginner+ combinations, rhythms, and choreography will be learned through the semester.
5-7 Tap/Jazz
This dance class is for 5-7 yr olds and teaches basic tap and jazz through movement and game play. Dancers learn the basics of tap and jazz in a fun, learning environment. These classes alternate weekly. Tap one week, and jazz the next.
3-4 Tap/Jazz
This dance class is for 3-4 yr olds and teaches basic tap and jazz through movement and game play. Dancers learn the basics of tap and jazz in a fun, learning environment. These classes alternate weekly. Tap one week, and jazz the next.

Whether preparing for the social dance floor, a special event, or just want to brush up on your dance steps… you can achieve your goals faster with one-on-one attention. Private dance lessons are the quickest way to improve your dancing skills. There are occasions when private dance lessons are more practical than taking a regularly scheduled group dance class. If you want to learn a specific dance type or dance style and go at your own pace with a private instructor, then private lessons are for you. Pom Pom 1
This class is for the beginner that likes to cheer or is interested in danceline or cheer! Poms are incorporated in to basic dance routines.
Musical Theatre
Musical Theatre class will incorporate Broadway style jazz and elements of music and interpretive movement from beloved shows and showtunes. Students will learn vocal technique as well as movement techniques and characterization. Ages 6 & up.

5-7 Jr. Hip Hop
This class serves as an introduction to hip hop dance for the younger student. Using games and music, the class focuses on rhythm, musicality and basic footwork. It is a great way to get kids moving!

Strength & Conditioning for Dancers
Strength and conditioning for dancers is a fitness regimen, combining resistance training and aerobic/anaerobic exercises, designed to enhance a dancer's physical capabilities and reduce injury risk. It focuses on developing core stability, lower and upper body strength, power, balance, and coordination, which directly improves performance elements like jumps, turns, extensions, and sustained movements.
CONTEMPORARY 2/MODERN
This class explores the qualities of released and off-balance dancing while daring students to find disparate qualities of stillness and explosion. Students are encouraged to develop an individual style driven by their internal life and the specificity of their bodies. By researching movement tasks as opposed to recreating shapes, students will begin to solve kinesthetic problems in a profound and personal way. We will focus on becoming compelling and magnetic performers, and working within a broad range of movements, from vigorous and athletic, to gestural and theatrical. The movement is approached from many systems: muscular, skeletal and nervous system, inviting dancers to work with versatility, intuition, strength, flow, stamina and ease. Multi-cultural inspirations are drawn from a broad range of musical styles and rhythmic complexities. Ages 13 & up.
CONTEMPORARY 1
This class is a fusion of classical ballet, jazz, and modern dance techniques. Students learn variations of techniques to create a unique class environment and learn about body alignment, proper dance precision, and creating shapes within the body. Ages 8-12
Clogging 1
This class is for beginner (ages 6-10) cloggers. In this class, cloggers will learn basic step, technique, and clogging terminology. This class will prepare cloggers to continue their clogging education and increase their ability to take clogging classes from different instructors with different styles.
14 & Up Ballet
This class is for the high school+ student and experienced ballet student. Advanced technique, combinations, choreography, and dance history will be explored throughout the semester.

Kidding Around Yoga
Kidding Around Yoga (KAY) is a children's yoga program that integrates mindfulness, meditation, breathing exercises, and traditional yoga poses into a fun, playful, and engaging class format for children. Using original music, games, stories, and interactive activities like partner poses, KAY aims to teach children self-regulation, confidence, kindness, and peace through ancient yoga practices presented in a child-friendly way.
Open Gym
Open Gym is for all tumbling students interested in working on favorite tricks with one on one guidance. This is ideal for tumblers who are on the verge of mastering a trick. This class focuses on proper technique, safety, tips for working at home, and (of course) learning new tricks!
Advanced Acro
Each participant will be evaluated to determine skill level and class. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique, teaching such skills as handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance and contortion tricks, all each student’s individual level of experience.
Intermediate Acro
Each participant will be evaluated to determine skill level and class. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique, teaching such skills as handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance and contortion tricks, all each student’s individual level of experience.
Beginner Acro

Acro
Learn the basics or work on advancing your skills in this flexible Acro class! Acro is not the typical tumbling or gymnastics class. Our experienced acro instructor will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration. This class is performance based and attends competitions and workshops on annual basis. This class is open to all dancers with intermediate+ clogging experience.

Tuesday Clogging is for middle school cloggers and/or the intermediate clogger. Tuesday cloggers are knowledgeable in clogging basics and learn intermediate techniques and modifications of basic steps. This class is performance based and attends competitions and workshops on annual basis. This class is open to all dancers with beginner+/intermediate clogging experience.
