Soli Deo Gloria Academy of Ballet, nestled in Clear Lake, Wisconsin, is dedicated to providing a rich environment for classical ballet education rooted in the principle of "for God's glory alone." Founded originally as Karar Academy in 2010 by Holly Hutchens and continuing its mission under the direction of Mrs. Wendy Dietrich and Mark Dietrich, the academy upholds a legacy of classical ballet training with over 13 years of dedicated experience. The academy is led by Owner/Director Wendy Dietrich, Artistic Director Clara Dietrich, and SDG Student Company Director Maggie Alen. Miss Clara, holding Aspire Teacher Training and Stretch Coaching certifications, teaches from Pre Ballet (for ages 3-4) through Pointe 2, as well as Adult Ballet and the Aspire Teacher Training Program (ATT), which prepares students to become instructors. Miss Maggie, with extensive classical ballet experience, further develops dancers in Ballet 3+ and directs the SDG Student Company, focusing on classical ballet etiquette and achievement. The Student Company actively performs, offering audiences moving experiences reflecting the studio's core values. The 32-week program emphasizes foundational technique in the fall, followed by advanced technique and recital preparation from January through May. Students can register by the quarter and enroll at any time, with a $10 registration fee. Soli Deo Gloria Academy of Ballet fosters not only technical skill but also a life of faith, nurturing young talent and maintaining a vision of excellence and spiritual enrichment.
