KP School of Dance

This high energy class uses the latest sounds in pop music to teach hip-hop movements, technique and instills rhythm. This is a great additional class to work on choreography and performance qualities. This class is designed for dancers in grades 3–12.

This 30 minute class emphasizes the development and strengtheningof basic tap technique and terminology highlighting the importance of rhythm and sound. Tap focuses on rhythms and intricate footwork, creating a percussion instrument out of the dancer’s feet. This class is designed for dancers in grades 6-12.

This 60 minute class emphasizes the use of the floor for centering and grounding oneself in movement. Modern dance is a contemporary dance form that has its roots in ballet. Dancers will explore their own expression of movement throughout the course of this class. This class is designed for dancers in Grades 6–12.

This class focuses on overall body alignment and awareness. Emphasis is placed on proper usage of feet, legs and execution of turnout. Traditional barre, center work and combinations are included in all classes. We encourage all dancers to enroll in one ballet class a week.

This 60 minute class teaches basic jazz dance technique, terminology and movement quality. Emphasis is placed on proper execution of jazz isolations, rhythms and style, performed to contemporary music. The lyrical choreography adds a powerful and expressive element to the class. This class is designed for dancers in Grades 6-12 .

This class was specifically designed to give younger students the opportunity to explore ballet, jazz, and tap within one class. This class is designed for dancers in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

This 30 minute class explores the fundamentals of creative movement, ballet, and jazz. This class is designed for dancers age 4.

This class is designed for dancers in Grades 6-12 .
