SBDI Residency

SBDI programs for children can run either a full year for an entire grade level, or a shorter residency depending on the needs of the community center or school. A full year program usually runs with weekly classes for the school year. SBDI Teaching Artists serve an entire grade level during which children experience an immersion in dance and music to promote exploration, creativity, teamwork and dedication. A mid-year assembly and a final performance for classmates and families provide structure for the year. Residency’s are programs that are less than a year and are flexible depending on the schedule, ultimate goal for the program and budget. All programs are on the site of the organization providing easier accessibility to participants.
