About Port City Ballet

Port City Ballet, newly established in Bainbridge, Georgia, extends the esteemed legacy of Rose City Ballet, founded in 1992 by Lovedy Griner. This sister studio, established in August 2023 by Sara Griner Webb, offers a vibrant and comprehensive dance education for students aged 3-18. At Port City Ballet, we are dedicated to fostering grace, confidence, and poise through quality instruction in a variety of genuine dance forms, including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and Modern dance. Our mission is to cultivate well-rounded individuals who embody these qualities both in their artistic pursuits and in everyday life, building upon decades of experience and a commitment to artistic expression. Our diverse program schedule includes a ten-month season from August to May, with classes structured by age and skill level for optimal development. Young dancers can explore the foundations of Ballet (ages 3-4), experience a combination of Ballet, Tap, and Jazz (ages 7-8), or join Ballet and Tap classes (ages 5-6). Older students (ages 9-13) can further their training in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. A dedicated Acrodance program is available for children aged 4-7, and we proudly offer a Homeschool Program for both younger (4-7) and older (8-13) students, integrating dance into their academic week. We emphasize not only dance technique but also the value of dance as a form of worship, a philosophy shared by instructors like Chloe Jarriel. Whether a young dancer is just beginning their journey or an experienced student looking to refine their skills, Port City Ballet offers a welcoming and inspiring environment for all.
