Charmette offers 1 ½ hour dance lessons designed for the beginning pre-teen dancer who has never had a class or is returning to dance after a long break. Instructors teach beginner steps and combinations in ballet, jazz and tap.

As a student’s skill progresses, he/she will move through our 2-hour intermediate-level dance classes. Students at these levels begin taking separate tap classes and limit their instruction in the combination classes to ballet, jazz and lyrical movements, with increasing levels of difficulty.

The 1 ½ hour Beginner Combination Classes are designed for five- to eight-year-old students. Dance instruction focuses on mastering combinations and vocabulary of basic ballet, jazz and tap steps. Dancers improve stamina, core skills, technique and rhythm.

Specifically for 3 and 4 year-old children, our preschool Pre-Dance Combination Classes introduce students to ballet, tap and basic tumbling.

These classes are a great way to introduce small children (18 months - 2 1/2 years) to the world of dance in a friendly, comfortable environment. Our 30-minute dance lessons focus on movement activities, music and creative expression that result in a special experience for parent and child.

Pointe is an advanced ballet class requiring specific technique and strength, focusing on dancing en pointe, and is not included in the general Stars of Tomorrow Dance Company enrollment.

Acrobatics is a specialized class focused on developing gymnastic and acrobatic skills within a dance context, separate from the main company class enrollments.

The Stars of Tomorrow Dance Company is for advanced dancers, with directors enrolling members in various classes except Acrobatics and Pointe.

Beg 1B/2 is an intermediate level class building upon the skills learned in Beginner 1A, offering further development in dance technique and performance.

Beginner 1A Ballet, Jazz and Tap is an introductory class for 5-year-olds, providing a comprehensive foundation in three essential dance styles.

Pre Dance 1/2 is a combined class accommodating both 3 and 4-year-olds, offering a blended introduction to dance for a mixed age group of young beginners.

Pre Dance 2 is a continuation of early dance education, suitable for 4-year-olds, building upon the fundamental movements and creativity introduced in Pre Dance 1.

Pre Dance 1 is a foundational dance class designed for young children, primarily for 3-year-olds, introducing them to the joy of movement and basic dance concepts.
