Motion Express School of Dance, located in St. Louis, Missouri, has been fostering a love for dance and acrobatics since its establishment in 1991. Founded by Tanya Shea, a graduate of Webster University's esteemed dance program, the studio is dedicated to providing a well-rounded dance education for students of all ages and skill levels. Our diverse curriculum includes Acrobatics, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Line Dancing, Musical Theater, and Tap. Instructors at Motion Express are degreed professionals committed to nurturing students' self-worth, confidence, and creative growth. Our talented faculty includes Tanya Shea, Tasha Jansen, Caitlin Leonard, Jennie Galloway, Kathleen Balassi, Corinne Weber, Cyndi Luttrell, and Melony Eding. We offer a structured learning environment with classes running from September through June, culminating in a recital. The studio is equipped with a professional space designed to accommodate large-scale choreography, allowing dancers to engage in boundary-pushing performances. Dancers are trained in all subjects to develop versatility, challenged with emotionally charged performances, comedy, partnering work, and musicality, and encouraged to explore, create, and innovate in a safe, non-judgmental environment. Motion Express School of Dance aims to foster a passion for dance within the St. Louis community, providing a platform for dancers to grow and shine.
