About Flower City Dance

Flower City Dance, located in Fairport, New York, is a vibrant studio dedicated to fostering a love for dance and artistic expression in students of all ages and levels, from 18 months to adults. Under the guidance of owner Vikkie Bach and co-owner Meaghan Piccarreto, the studio offers a diverse curriculum encompassing Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Acrobatics, Salsa, Flamenco, and Zumba. Our experienced faculty includes Ballet Instructors Youri Spindler and Maggie Rickel, renowned for their classical training and performance backgrounds. Melissa Muszak, an award-winning Tap choreographer, and Julie Moll, with extensive competition and choreography experience from Broadway Dance Center, are key members of our teaching staff. Instructors Ciara Fink and Tessa Piccarreto, alongside competitive dancer Kelsey Fahy, bring fresh perspectives. Nicole Bryant leads the First Steps and Creative Movement programs, while Lindsey Miller offers expertise as a guest instructor and choreographer, also as a fitness professional. Lauren Frechette and Rachael Lanning serve as guest choreographers, with Rachael having founded and choreographed for a university dance club. Flower City Dance provides a welcoming environment for both recreational dancers and aspiring artists through its dedicated competitive team for ages 5 and up. We emphasize comprehensive dance education, encouraging technique development, confidence building, and a strong sense of community, with enrollment currently open for all prospective students.
