About Alpha and Omega Dance Academy Fayetteville

Alpha and Omega Dance Academy Fayetteville, located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, is a Christ-centered studio celebrating its 6th year of fostering excellence in dance. We offer a nurturing environment grounded in Christian values, dedicated to developing technique, artistry, and character in dancers of all ages. Our diverse curriculum includes Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Salsa, Bachata, and Zumba, with Ballet serving as a foundational requirement for students in Contemporary, Jazz, or Modern Level 2+ classes. We also offer advanced Ballet dancers the opportunity to train in Pointe technique. Our academy is proud of its amazing, trustworthy instructors with extensive training and experience, though specific names are not detailed. Beyond traditional classes, Alpha and Omega provides extensive dance programs for adults and features a unique, theatrical end-of-the-year dance production inspired by classic stories, offering a distinct alternative to standard recitals. Classes commence on Monday, August 18, 2025, with all students having the opportunity to perform in the spring recital unless participating in "Technique" classes, which do not. We are committed to glorifying God through our work, ensuring clean and age-appropriate music and movements. Alpha and Omega Dance Academy aims to be more than just a dance school, focusing on mentorship, building a supportive community with lasting friendships, and providing affordable, family-focused schedules. Registration, tuition, and fees are clearly outlined on our website, alongside policies, dress code, and FAQs.

Adult Tap

Tap focuses on natural movement combined with great muscle coordination and memory. The use of taps on the dancer's shoes emphasizes different sounds and rhythms and is lots of fun for people of all ages! This ballet class is designed for adults who are beginners in tap, haven't danced in a while, or have a few years of experience.

Adult Ballet

Ballet is a good foundation of dance styles and a great class for beginners or the most advanced student. It involves barre, center floor work, and combinations that focus on the dancer's musicality, technique, coordination, core strength, and grace.

Tap

Tap focuses on natural movement combined with great muscle coordination and memory. The use of taps on the dancer's shoes emphasizes different sounds and rhythms and is lots of fun for people of all ages! Those looking to improve footwork and mental clarity/focus will benefit from taking tap.

Musical Theatre & Tap Combo

This new combo class is designed to introduce students to the natural combination of musical theatre and tap! Students will have fun while being pushed out of their comfort zone! The musical theater dance style combines broadway jazz and tap styles to make a fun and athletic form of dance.

J azz

Our jazz classes can range from broadway jazz to more modern jazz pop, but all jazz is characterized by the use of improvisation and influenced by rhythms and techniques of jazz music. Students will be pushed with this fast-paced, dynamic, and fun choreography!

Ballet

Ballet is the foundation of all dance styles and a great class for beginners or the most advanced student. It involves barre, center floor work, and combinations that focus on the dancer's musicality, technique, coordination, core strength, and grace. We recommend ballet for every single dancer, regardless of which style they are focusing on.

Ballet/Jazz Combo

This new combo class is designed to introduce students to both classic styles of ballet and jazz. We will rotate through styles each week, maximizing each student’s exposure and growth process. Their recital dance will be either ballet or jazz.

Pre-Ballet/Jazz or Pre-Ballet/Tap

These combination classes are designed for boys and girls ages 4-6 years old. They combine the foundational basics of ballet and either jazz or tap (depending on the class) by covering positions, movements, stretches, terminology, rhythm, musicality, body/spatial awareness, confidence, and performance skills.

Creative Movement

This is a class where a brand new dancer can learn basic dance and coordination skills while still having fun! For many of our students, this is their first experience with a structured dance or group class, so we will explain and teach how to stand in a line, take turns, share as we dance and play games — all while having fun and moving at a more relaxed pace than our older dance classes.

Technique classes

Please note that all classes labeled “Technique” do not perform in the recital, and therefore there are no costume fees for those classes.
