About Oregon Coast Dance Center

Oregon Coast Dance Center (OCDC), formerly Patrician School of Dance, nestled in Tillamook, Oregon, has been a cornerstone of dance education since its founding in 1975. Under the ownership of certified instructor Lisa Greiner, who began her own dance journey at OCDC at age six, the studio continues to thrive, offering a rich variety of dance training. OCDC provides excellent dance training in a supportive, family-friendly environment, emphasizing life skills such as discipline and respect. The spacious 5,500 sq ft facility features two dance rooms with mirrors, barres, and specialized flooring, alongside a dedicated third room for their Tumbling program. Dancers of all ages, from 18 months through adults, can explore genres including Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Irish Step, and Hula. Specialized programs like "Mommy & Me" and "Toddler Tumbling" cater to the youngest learners, while "Instructor Placement Classes" are available for more advanced dancers. Instructors like Lynda (Tap, Musical Theater, Adult Jazz), Paige (Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap), and Bonnie (Contemporary) contribute their expertise to the diverse class offerings. OCDC is committed to fostering a love for movement and artistic expression, with most classes lasting 60 minutes to allow for proper instruction and choreography development. The studio dynamically adjusts its schedule based on community demand and offers waitlists for full classes, ensuring fair access. A testimonial highlights OCDC's long-standing commitment and ability to inspire a lifelong love for dance.
