The Dance Atelier

Our Ballet classes are taught following the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. Dancers that are 8 years or older should reach out for a placement class.

Our lyrical/ contemporary classes blend technical steps with free flowing expressive movement. Students will learn traditional styles from the greats of the genre such as Martha Graham and Merce Cunningham, as well as the more modern version of the genre that is performed today.

Our acrobatics and tumbling class combines elements of gymnastics, dance, and cheerleading. Our program is specially designed to develop strength, flexibility, coordination and balance while learning acrobatic skills such as tumbling, handstands, cartwheel variations and flips.

An upbeat, fun class that combines hip hop dance with elements of breakdance. In this class you will learn freezes, footwork and commercial hip hop choreography.

A fun, upbeat class for ages 5+. Our jazz classes focus on technique and style that is influenced by music, culture, and passion. Students will explore and learn different styles of jazz dance including musical theatre jazz, technical jazz, commercial jazz and jazz funk.

Our tap classes are taught in the traditional broadway style. Tap dance involves learning and memorizing rhythm patterns, which can boost your brain power and cognitive skills. Strong tap dancing skills increase your probability of booking a job at an audition.

Ages 5+, traditional classical ballet taught following the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum. Ballet is the technical foundation for all styles of dance, and our leveled classes are designed to prepare students to pursue a career in classical ballet or any other style of dance. Students have the option of taking examinations through the ABT, Americas designated national ballet company. Pointe classes are incorporated from Level 3.

For ages 2.5-4.5, a combination of tumbling skills (handstand, forward rolls etc) combined with fun upbeat jazz dance steps! The perfect class to get your little one moving and grooving!!

For ages 3-4, your little dancers first introduction to movement and music. A 45-minute class taught following the ABT curriculum that teaches the fundamentals of ballet and rhythm using props and magical themes.
