Master Class Series
Joseph was born and raised in Sandy, UT. Growing up his father and grandfather were talented Martial artists which led him to develop a deep love for physical arts. In high school his dancer training started with a Ballroom company at Alta High (’09-‘12) which led him to start breaking in 2010. After graduating in 2012 he dived into his love for Breaking and Hip Hop and joined the Breaking Crew BKZ (2013-Current). Through the years he has collected numerous accolades and won several battles and Jams throughout the western United States. He’s also professionally performed with Underground Dance Co., The HERC-They Reminisce & Junction Dance Co. He is still currently training and teaching Breaking.
Master Class Series
Hailey was born and raised in Kamas, Utah, and started dancing at age 7. Growing up she was always interested in music, movement and expression. She trained at UAC (Heber, UT) until graduating high school in 2014. She followed her love for dance to a BFA program in SUU studying Ballet and Modern dance, eventually transferring to UVU to complete her BS in Communications with a minor in Spanish. While at UVU she participated in MOSAIC, a performing arts program dedicated to Hip Hop culture. Since 2017, she has been a professional company member for Junction Dance CO, teaching at various studios across the Wasatch Front, and continuing her study of Hip Hop culture, and continues to dive into her passion for Hip Hop, House, Whacking & Krump.
Master Class Series
Originally from Oklahoma City, Dom moved to Philadelphia to study dance at The University Of The Arts, graduating with a Bachelors in Fine Arts in 2021. During the audition festival LINK, Dom was extended a contract by SALT dance company. Before joining SALT, Dom attended workshops including The Washington Ballet Summer Intensive in 2016 & 2017, Complexions Summer Intensive in 2016 & 2017, the Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive in 2017, the American Dance Festival in 2019, and of course LINK in 2022. Previous professional experiences include swinging for the Lyric Theater Company, dancing as a company artist for Kun Yang Lin Dancers, and dancing for the Merce Cunningham Trust during their “Scenario” workshop.
Master Class Series
Kenedy Kallas is from Utah, USA. She began her classical training at the Ballet West Academy in 2015. The following year she continued her training at the San Francisco Ballet School. In 2019 she joined Nederland Dans Theater 2. During her time with NDT 2 she originated roles in new creations by: Marco Goecke, Sol Leon, Paul Lightfoot, Dino Milev, Emilie Leriche, Tom Weinberger, Nadav Zelner, Marcos Morau, David Raymond and Tiffany Tregarthen. Kenedy joined Hessisches Staatsballett Wiesbaden in August 2022.

Myles attended Brigham Young University where he pursued a BFA in Dance Performance. At school, Myles performed on the Touring Contemporary Dance Company where he had the opportunity to travel to Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary performing worlds by Peter Chu, Ihsan Rustem and more. After university, Myles was hired as a full time company member with SALT Contemporary Dance in Salt Lake City, UT, where he currently dances as a full time artist. In 2017 Myles worked at Music Theatre of Wichita’s Summer Equity season which included: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Hairspray and Hunchback of Notre Dame. Most recently, Myles was honored to play the lead, Jerry Mulligan, in Hale Center Theatre’s regional premiere of An American in Paris. Since closing the show, Myles has performed selections from An American in Paris across the country in Galas for organizations including Youth American Grand Prix. Myles has created original stage works for Oquirrh West Dance Project and SALT Pro, as well as a dance movement film titled “Telephone Hour” which explores relationships between God and technology. Myles was a featured guest artist for South Dakota Ballet in the Summer of 2021. Selected to be a part of the Gala performance “Only Human”, Myles performed a work by renowned choreographer Eloy Barragen alongside friends and colleagues from ABT, Pacific NorthWest Ballet and Aspen Santa Fe Ballet. Myles also choreographed a new work that premiered at the Gala. Myles is currently in his sixth season with SALT Contemporary Dance.

Sara Pickett, MFA, is an assistant professor in the University of Utah School of Dance. She received her MFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah as a recipient of a University Teaching Award, and her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Weber State University where she was the recipient of numerous awards and scholarships including the Lindquist Creative Arts Fellowship. Mrs. Pickett is creator and co-producer of BRINE, a presenting organization for local artists in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Pickett is a passionate teacher who believes in the pure joy of moving by connecting to groove and kinesthetic exploration. She has been teaching and choreographing for major universities, various schools and entertainment companies in Utah and Colorado for over twenty years. Mrs. Pickett’s teaching history covers a wide range of subjects including all levels of modern, contemporary, jazz and hip hop techniques, dance history, choreography, improvisation, teaching methods, history of hip hop, and dance appreciation. Mrs. Pickett‘s choreography has been performed at the University of Utah, Weber State University, Utah Valley University, Sugarspace, and the American College Dance Festival, among others. She danced professionally with Rick Robinson’s Total Control, and was a core member of Millenium , a theatrical hip hop company in Denver, Co. with Kenny Jimenez. Mrs. Pickett has been a featured performer and guest artist for companies in the Salt Lake City and Denver area and her favorite solo was Lynn Barr’s Bollero on top of a massive water fountain in Urbino, Italy. Mrs. Pickett also worked as Public Relations Associate for the College of Fine Arts at the University of Utah from 2007-2013.

Hailee Payne is a professional dancer, choreographer, and educator born and raised in Utah. She trained at Infinity Dance in numerous dance styles and feels lucky to have had it blossom into not only a passion, but a career! She has performed alongside: The Backstreet Boys, Taylor Swift, Jojo Siwa, Mariah Carey, Florida Georgia Line, and Sofia Carson. Most recently she performed in the Disney Magical Holiday Celebration with Julianne Hough and Ariana Debose, who stars in Stephen Spielberg’s West Side Story. Featured on TV shows such as “So You Think You Can Dance”, where she placed in the top 4, Lucifer, American Music Awards, Soultrain Awards, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Late Late Show With James Corden, Good Morning America and more! Hailee has taught at numerous studios across the country and is a proud faculty member of the dance convention NRG Dance Project, where she teaches her students to truly embrace who they are and “Be the Unicorn”!

Hannah Gossett is a dedicated teacher, student, and lover of the arts. Growing up in Ohio, she began her dance training at 10 years old and instantly knew this was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. Hannah has worked in the industry with various artists and companies including Macklemore, Herb Alpert, Beacon, TMobile and Sonos, to name a few. Teaching has always been Hannah’s passion and purpose. She is continuously creating and producing programs and creative dance experiences wherever she goes to help dancers gain confidence and self assurance in their own art form. Hannah is currently able to share her work on a larger scale at Artists Simply Human, where she serves as a faculty member and Company Director.

Born and raised in Park City, Utah, Lucy has been dancing since she was 6 years old. She fell in love with dance after her very 1st hip-hop class at Park City Dance Academy. Throughout her formative years, Lucy continued to study dance with Park City Dance Academy, Ballet West and Summit Dance Project. She has trained in several dance styles including contemporary, tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop and many other styles. Lucy and her team have also won many accolades and awards at several competitions such as Artists Simply Human, Hollywood Connection, NUVO and Jump. Lucy is currently taking classes at Salt Lake Community College and taking dance classes throughout Salt Lake City.

Sophia has been dancing since the age of 4, growing up with her best friends dancing with Park City Dance Academy, Ballet West and Summit Dance Project. She and her team have competed and won at many competitions including Artists Simply Human, NUVO, JUMP & Hollywood Connection. Her trio and group contemporary piece placed 1st Overall at ASH Nationals in the summer of 2023, as well as receiving the top honor of “Studio of the Year”. During the 22/23 season she toured as a member of ASH the Company, and then was promoted to an ASH the Company Captain and toured nationally throughout the 23/24 season. She has always loved contemporary dance but also has an appreciation for all other styles including hip-hop, ballet & jazz funk. Sophia is currently on scholarship at the University of Utah School of Modern Dance.

Izzy is from Park City, Utah, born and raised. She has grown up dancing almost her entire life, training with Park City Dance Academy, Ballet West Academy Park City, and Summit Dance Project, as well as the Park City High School Dance Company. She trained in contemporary, ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop and other styles. She has grown up competing at many competitions, including winning Nationals at Artists Simply Human with her team in the 2022/23 season. She now dances at the University of Utah and is excited to begin her dance career by teaching at SDP.

Katie’s love for dance was born when she followed her sister to her very first Jazz class. All these years later she is so grateful to still be sharing that love with her own kids and students. Growing up in Park City, UT Katie trained, performed and competed locally. Her training included Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap and Hip Hop. Katie attended The University of Utah where she received a BFA in Modern Dance, with a minor in Nutritional Studies. While at The U, she performed in many student and faculty produced shows. After College she moved to Monterey, Ca, dancing with a small local company and teaching master classes. Since returning to Park City in 2008, Katie has been teaching all ages and all styles. She loves being part of the growing movement of adult dancers, continuing to take class whenever she can!

She began assistant teaching a few years later, and although she can be primarily found at the front desk, she still continues to instruct tap and ballet for some of SDP’s littlest dancers.

Tonia is an award winning choreographer and has been choreographing professionally throughout the Wasatch front since 1999. During this time she has also adjudicated for several local dance conventions, and taught Master classes in Modern, Improvisation, Jazz and Contemporary.
