Mature bodies experience exercise in a unique way! This class offers a welcoming environment to learn pole dance and tips, and to have space to move with others who share the same gift of an evolving and aging body. Open to all experience levels without an age cap. Skin helps you stick to the pole, so layers are recommended, but no particular clothing required.

Big Body Pole Party

A welcoming environment to learn pole dance and tips, and have dance space for anyone feeling they and their body need a designated space to pole dance in. Open to all experience levels. Skin helps you stick to the pole but no particular clothing required. If this is your first time at RevolVT, make sure to fill out our health and safety waivers.

POC POLE SPACE

This time is include a full pole class (75 min), consisting of a flow created to be inviting to both beginner and experienced alike, so we can all dance together. Afterwards, (45 min) will be open to socialize, pole dance freely and be together in a space for us. Regular class pass to pay for space use/teaching class time is helpful, however, we desire to make this space accessible. Currently you do not need an active pass to book the class. This class is free/by donation if you desire.

Lap Dance 101

Lap Dance 101 offers the basics and signature components of lap dance. This class is akin to sultry slink, as it uses similar seduction practices and applies them to partnership dance. Given the nature of lap dance, this is a close contact class where you will take turns being a lap (the base) and the “dancer” (the flyer). Please be prepared to be up close and personal with your fellow students, and have a good time! Beginner friendly! Prior dance experience is helpful but not necessary. Kneepads are recommended also available to borrow in the studio. Layers are recommended! - Wear leggings or stockings that allow the legs to glide freely about the chair. Refrain from clothes that match your chair and have textiles that are too slick or slippery to grip the chair (leather, pleather, silk).

Buttery Basework

Buttery Basework is the love child of Sultry Slink and pole choreography around the base of the pole. Commonly referred to as “Low Flow,” this sensual movement class will teach you how to move seamlessly around the base of the pole in a sensual, fluid manner. During this class you will learn fluid and fun low-flows through base work, floor work and pole work, whilst wearing heels; this combined with timing and musicality will develop your confidence and your ability to captivate an audience. Heels are not required, but the class material is tailored to dancing in stripper heels.

Sultry Slink

Learn to dance with style and technique in platform high heels or barefoot. We practice sexy floorwork choreography with stretches to strengthen these moves. For beginners who want to wear heels, Revolve VT recommends 6-8 inch heeled shoes by sturdy brands made for pole dancing like Pleaser, Toes on Pointe, BeSpoke By ChaCha, Club Hella Heels, Ellie Shoes etc. We also recommended ankle straps or boots to keep your shoes secure. We frequently use soft kneepads in this class, and will use yoga mats for stretching. Please bring your own knee pads. You will also want clothing layers, such as socks, to cover skin to allow sliding movements.

Inversion Flow

Ready to get inverted? Take your practice into the air with Inversion Flow. We work on more aerial moves, dynamic spins, climbs, holds, and inversions from the floor in this class. Check out instructor bios on our site to get a feel for our different teaching styles! This class requires skin exposure from the mid-thigh down
