Every May, every dancer, from three-year-old students to the young adults performs in an annual Spring Dancical Production. It is a treat for family and friends, and it is an important opportunity for the students particularly the young ones making their first appearances on stage.

Dance Theatre of Huntsville frequently brings master teachers in to instruct students in various forms of dance, such as modern, jazz, African, tap, hip hop, ballet, Brazilian, and Caribbean.

The Pre-Professional Dance Company is a performing group for students ages 7 to 21. The group performs all over Huntsville under the guidance of Monique and her staff of teachers, dancers, choreographers and PPDC alumni.

Ballet for the beginning child from age 7 up to advanced levels. Basic Cecchetti methods used along with R.A.D. and Russian techniques. Individual attention and thoroughness stressed. A very disciplined form of dance study is the basis for all dance. It is highly recommended as a starting point of dance education.

An introduction to dance, its technique and discipline for the very young child. An awareness of movement is developed with the limbering of acrobatics, rhythmical movement to song and verse and the elementary of Ballet. These classes are specifically designed for children 2 1/2 to 6 years of age.

Each year dancers from all across the United States gather at Dance Theatre of Huntsville to be personally challenged by the artist that come to share their gifts with students who are truly committed to dance. The summer intensive is a 5 week training course of study that gives motivated dancers an opportunity to study dance in an exciting professional setting. This session is designed for dancers ages 7 to adult.
