Fuzion School of the Arts

This class is designed for students who love Musical Theatre and are ready to begin exploring the exciting world where acting, singing, and dancing come together. Students will develop foundational skills in storytelling and character development through movement and working effectively as part of an ensemble. Through fun, age-appropriate activities and group numbers, students will build confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills while gaining an understanding of how music and movement help tell a story on stage.

This class offers an introduction to theatre vocabulary, stage layout, types of stages, and stage positions. Students will explore teamwork in an ensemble, audition techniques, an overview of theatre history relevant to modern theatre, and the basics of acting. The course is taught in a relaxed and supportive environment, with plenty of opportunities for theatre games and hands-on learning.
