Strong core basics of tap technique, musicality and traditional repertory.

Building an multi-form academy for adults and teens with a variety of classes for dance, music, and art. Sharing dance through performance to more of our community. Collaborating and partnering with other dancers, musicians, and artists. We want to continue to build Tapestry into a community center that celebrates and supports the intersection of dance, music, art, and humanity.

This class covers the basic fundamentals of Acia Gray's tap dance technique founded on her branch of this incredible Black American art form we call Tap Dance. This class covers basic full-body dance elements, music structure and traditional tap dance basics. Good for ALL levels if new to Tapestry.

Tapestry Dance Company shares the power of dance, music and theatre through numerous events and programs including pop-up masterclasses and workshops in dance, theatre and music. These programs are sponsored by individual contributors, corporations, the National Endowment for the Arts, the City of Austin and the Texas Commission on the Arts as well as its wonderful audiences and touring sponsors.
